Telugu actor Suriya Sivakumar, who is popular for his performance in Jai Bhim, has started his new venture as a producer. The actor announced his collaboration with Akshay Kumar on Monday.

Suriya is all set to produce a Hindi film starring Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan in the lead roles. He also shared the poster of the untitled film that shows a silhouette of Akshay Kumar with an aeroplane passing through it. Have a look at Suriya’s tweet:

Suriya Sivakumar hit headlines last month after his film Jai Bhim broke all records and became a blockbuster. The film was applauded across the world and was also shortlisted for Oscars 2022. However, the film did not make the final cut to the Oscars 2022 nominations.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Jai Bhim was inspired by a true incident in 1993 wherein Justice K Chandru fought a case of police brutality and caste injustice. The film stars Suriya, Lijomol Jose, and Manikandan in the lead roles and Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, and others in supporting roles.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recently hogged headlines for all the wrong reasons. The actor had collaborated with the Vimal pan masala brand to endorse Vimal Ealichi. This did not go well with his fans who slammed the actor for endorsing pan masala. Following the social media outrage, Akshay Kumar stepped back and apologised to his fans. He also said that the money earned in the endorsement will be used for a worthy cause.

Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, and others.
