Ranbir Kapoor will once again don the lover look and will be seen romancing another Bollywood diva. The actor who made his comeback on silver screens after four long years with YRF’s Shamshera, followed by Brahmastra will now be seen as a lover boy.

The makers of Pyaar Ka Punchnama had announced that they were making a romantic film with the never-seen-before pair Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, and finally they shared the poster of the film but with a twist.

Luv Ranjan, the director shared the poster but with just the initials of the titled and gave a days time for the fans to guess the tile of Ranbir-Shraddha starrer. The initials read TJMM and fans came up with several hilarious names but none eve came close to the actual title of the film.

Ending the suspense, the makers have finally revealed the name of the film, which is no less than a tongue twister. Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor’s film is named Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar. The female lead and the director of the film shared a teaser of Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar and shared the title of the film.

Fans seem to be having a good laugh over the title, but director Luv Ranjan, who is known to come up with something similar is loving the reactions to his upcoming film. For the unversed, Ranjan earned a lot of praise for his films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama one and two and also for the Kartik Aaryan-Nusrat Bharuccha starrer Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Fans are loving the chemistry between Ranbir and Shraddha and are loving to see Ranbir play the chocolate boy role after so long. The release date of Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar has not been finalized yet but the makers have revealed that the film will hit the theatres near Holi 2023.

Bhatt addressed the questions he had been receiving from followers on social media and thanked them for their interest. However, he made it clear that he is not part of the upcoming season.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.
