Uorfi Javed has become a centre of talk after she shared her bold pictures of wearing tomatoes as accessories. She has left everyone stunned once again with her unique way of bringing attention to the issue of rising tomatoes prices across the country.

The Bigg Boss OTT fame took to her Instagram handle and posted a series of pictures in which she was seen wearing tomatoes earrings. Apart from this, in one of the photos, Uorfi was also seen eating a raw tomato.

Following her Instagram pictures, Uorfi also brought attention to the clippings of two news reports. While one of them mentioned how Suniel Shetty is eating fewer tomatoes due to skyrocketing prices, another showcased that a farmer in Maharashtra has become a millionaire by selling tomatoes.

Uorfi’s Instagram post has gone viral on social media platforms. The post has garnered 1, 92,000 likes and thousands of comments on the post. She captioned it and said tomatoes are the new gold.

Many people have reacted to her post and shared their views. One of the users said, Uorfi ki artwork ka koi jawab nahi hai (Uorfi’s artwork is amazing). Another wrote tamater ka dress banao urfi mam (Make a dress of tomatoes).

Uorfi brought the issue in a creative way by wearing tomatoes earrings when the prices of tomatoes have been rising across the country. The prices of tomatoes in Mumbai and Delhi are available at Rs 194/KG and Rs 158/KG, respectively.

Earlier, Suniel Shetty also expressed his views over the rising prices of tomatoes. He said that spike in tomato prices has also affected him, so he has been consuming fewer tomatoes these days. The actor added that he has been ordering the vegetables through the app as they are cheaper than shops.

Uorfi Javed, who has been known for her exotic fashion choices, took a dig at the main national issue by using tomatoes as accessories alongside a hilarious caption.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

The newborn is the couple’s second daughter. Deepika and Ranveer became parents for the first time in September 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Dua.
