A video of an elderly man celebrating his 85th birthday goes viral. The video has so far garnered over 2.2 million views.

Everyone has an inner child, and no matter how old they get, they never get rid of it. Growing older does not preclude you from experiencing a childish delight in the basic pleasures of life. It’s heartwarming to see elderly people getting emotional over something that brings back memories from their youth. One such video is doing rounds on social media which shows an elderly man getting emotional on his birthday after getting a piece of cake.
A video of an elderly man celebrating his 85th birthday was posted on Instagram by the Goodnews Movement. The handle uploaded this video and captioned it along with a heart. WHOLESOME! This 85-year-old grandpa is delighted when surprised with a piece of cake for his birthday. You can see the inner child come out in this video, reads the caption.
In a video, a waiter brings an elderly man a slice of cake with a candle on top while the man is having lunch with his family. When the elderly man receives the cake, his eyes light up with delight, and he claps. As his family begins to sing him a happy birthday, he becomes overwhelmed and breaks down. He raises his hand in excitement as others at the restaurant wish him a happy birthday. It exemplifies how little pleasures in life can be so rewarding.
The video has so far garnered over 2.2 million views and around 150k likes. Social media users began praising the wholesome video in the comments section. Several users commented on how much they missed their own grandfather after watching this video.
Some users expressed their wishes for the elderly man’s birthday, while others joked that the video should come with a disclaimer that it may lead viewers to become emotional in public. Many praised the man’s family members for putting together such a wonderful surprise for him.

Amritpal Singh releases first video amid manhunt, mocks Punjab Police | WATCH
Amritpal Singh, who returned from Dubai in 2022 and took over Waris De Chief, is on the run since March 18.

Pro-Khalistani leader and Waris De Chief Amritpal Singh released his first video message amid the high-voltage drama of Punjab Police to nab him.
In the viral video, Singh can be heard mocking the efforts made by the Bhagwant Mann’s police and saying he managed to escape despite their best efforts. He put a full stop to the media reports speculating that he would surrender.
He also said if the Punjab government had the intention to arrest him, the police could have arrested him from his house.
Singh continued that his aides have been arrested in false cases and had been sent to the Assam jail just for preaching the Sikh religion. Further, he urged his supporters to keep fighting for him and support him.

The Punjab government on Wednesday informed the Haryana and Punjab High Court that they failed to arrest the radical preacher despite their best efforts.
The cops also carried out a flag march around the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Multiple media reports stated that Singh will surrender at the Golden Temple in public in the presence of the media.
Amritpal Singh, who returned from Dubai in 2022 and took over Waris De Chief, is on the run since March 18. The Punjab government declared him a fugitive and is in search of the pro-khalistani leader.
On Wednesday, Singh along with his close aide Papalpreet Singh managed to dodge the police and escape. Reports said an Innova vehicle with three people onboard was stopped by the police on Tuesday night at a checkpoint, however, they managed to escape in the dark.
Multiple videos of Singh are being circulated on social media. In one of the videos, Singh was seen walking in a street in Delhi market without a turban and covering his mouth with a mask.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge hits back at PM Modi’s corruption remark, says stop image makeover
The Congress chief also accentuated the use of ED sleuth on the Opposition and further asked how the BJP leaders are cleared off their charges after being inducted into the party.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a jibe at the Opposition unity on Tuesday calling their Opposition unity a coming together of the corrupt, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday hit back at PM Modi. Kharge asked PM Modi to stop BJP’s image make over by portraying as Anti-Corruption crusader.
Kharge, in his Tweet, wrote and questioned who owns 20,000 Crore Rs in Adani’s Shell companies. Kharge further raked up the names of defaulters Lalit Modi, Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, Vijay Mallya, Jatin Mehta who fled the country and asked if they are a part of PM Modi’s ‘Bhrashtachari Bhagao Abhiyan’.

Kharge, in his second Tweet, also questioned on why the ruling BJP is accused of 40% commission in Karnataka. Kharge further upped the ante and accused the Meghalaya Government to be the most corrupt.
Congress Chief Malikarjun Kharge, in his scathing attack, raked up the issue of BJP leader being involved in Sanjivani Cooperative scam in Rajasthan, Poshan scam in MP and Naan scam in Chhattisgarh.

Amritpal Singh likely to surrender in Golden Temple before Akal Takht, says report
Security has been beefed up around Golden Temple in Amritsar.

Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh who is on the run for the last 10 days is likely to surrender himself before the Punjab Police, said reports. The radical Sikh preacher who had been evading arrest for around two weeks has reportedly returned to Punjab.
The Punjab Police are on his tail but are yet to nab him. There are reports that the Waris Punjab De chief has put forth three demands before Punjab Police over the arrest.
Amritpal Singh is evading arrest since March 18 even after the state police launched a crackdown against him after his convoy was spotted in Jalandhar. Since then, he fled to several states, including Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, evading multiple checkpoints, and changing vehicles and hideouts several times.

As per the reports, Singh was also suspected to be in Nepal. India also encouraged Nepal’s authorities to be vigilant and prevent the radical preacher from fleeing, which led to his name being on a surveillance list.
Now, there are reports that the pro-Khalistan leader may surrender himself in the Golden Temple before Akal Takht. Policemen in plain clothes have also been deployed around Golden Temple.
Punjab Police have initiated a large search operation radical preacher in a Hoshiarpur village and nearby regions where Amritpal Singh and his associates may be reportedly hiding. The Marnaian village, where a thorough search was conducted late on Tuesday night after several suspects abandoned their car after a chase, saw a significant police presence in and around it.
