Syria threatens to respond any future Israeli aggression

In a tit-for-tat escalation in the Middle East, Syria has warned Israel for “more surprises” should Tel Aviv commit any further acts of aggression against its territory.
Syrian Deputy foreign Minister for European Affairs, while addressing a press conference in Damascus on Tuesday said, “Have full confidence the aggressor will be greatly surprised because it thought this war – this war of attrition Syria has been exposed to for years – had made it incapable of confronting attacks.”
He further said, “God willing they will see more surprises whenever they try to attack Syria.”

Moreover Israeli Defence Minister said on Tuesday that Tel Aviv “does not accept limitations” on Syrian military offensives.
Reacting to shooting down of Israeli F-16 warplane by Syrian forces, Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) had praised the Damascus move, saying that (Israeli) regime can no longer carry out hostile action against Syria with impunity.
The Iranian official also said that the move shows that the era of “hit-an-run” has ended. He also added that Tel Aviv must get ready to face the consequences of its aggression against Syria.
