Schools, colleges reopening update 2022: Here’s state-wise list of educational institutions reopening from February

Due to the decline in Covid-19 cases, many state government has decided to reopen schools and other educational institutions in their respective states. Here we are providing the list for the same. Also, where the decision is yet to be made is mentioned in this article.

India on Monday, January 31 witnessed a slight decline in daily Covid-19 cases across the country. The country’s active caseload has now declined to 18,31,268. Given the decline in cases, state governments across the country have decided to reopen educational institutions from February.

All government and private schools were shut down earlier due to a sudden surge in Covid-19 cases and the Omicron scare. Below is the list of states that have decided to re-open schools and colleges from February.

Karnataka

All schools, colleges are allowed to reopen in Banglore from today onwards. The Education Minister BC Nagesh said that all classes will remain operational in the state. They have to follow the guidelines of Covid-19 on the strict basis

Tripura

Schools from pre-primary to class 12 have reopened from today onwards in Tripura. Earlier, pre-primary to classes 7 were suspended till January 30, 2022, in the state. However, classes 8 to 12 were opened adhering to strict guidelines of Covid-19.

Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, schools for 1-12 classes will be opening from February 1, 2022.n along with universities. However, playschools, UKGand LKG classes will remain closed in the state. This has been announced by the state governmnet on January 27, 2022.

Rajasthan

Schools for class 10-12 students will reopen from February 1, 2022, in the state. Also, classes 9 to 6 will reopen from February 10, 2022, in the state.

Harayana

It has been informed by Education Minister Kanwar Pal that classes 10,11 and 12 will be operational from February 1, 2022, in the state. Earlier he mentioned that they can think mover a reopening of schools due to the decline in Covid-19 cases.

There are certain states where the decision of educational institutions reopening is yet to be made. Here we are giving you the state-wise list.

Pondicherry

Pondicherry officials said that schools and colleges will remain closed till January 31, 2022. The decision for school re-opening is yet to be made by officials in the Union Territory

Madhya Pradesh

Schools and hostels were closed in Madhya Pradesh from January 14, 2022. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the decision for reopening schools in the state is yet to be made. The decision will be taken after the consultation with experts.

Odisha

It has been warned by the Odisha Higher Education Department about the fake letter which is circulating in social media about the school reopening. It claims that colleges and universities in the state will reopen on February 10. The decision is yet to be made by the officials.

Delhi

Schools, colleges, and other educational institutions will remain closed till any notice. A decision is expected in the next DDMA meeting on the reopening of schools.

Physics Wallah founder gets invited as speaker to Harvard, Stanford Universities, post goes viral

In his post Alakh Pandey wrote that he was invited to speak at Harvard University, Stanford University, and University Of California. He said that he motivated the Indian students studying in these premier institutions to return to India to contribute to the country’s growth and development.

Alakh Pandey, also known as Physics Wallah, took to his Instagram handle and shared a post on being invited to prestigious foreign universities as a speaker. In his post, he shared how he asked the Indian students studying in the premier institutions – Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University Of California – to return to their homeland. He urged those Indian students who cannot return should directly or indirectly contribute to India’s progress.

Physics Wallah wrote his caption in Hindi and shared a number of pictures showing him standing at different places. In his post, he wrote that he was invited to speak at Harvard University, Stanford University, and University Of California. Pandey said that he motivated the Indian students studying in these premier institutions to return to India to contribute to the country’s growth and development.

He said he knew that his country has many flaws. But, the youth should work towards making it better. The post was shared 21 hours ago and has gone viral with 306,512 likes till now which are only increasing. Large number of Instagram users and students commented on the viral post. One user Himanshu kumar shared the post and wrote heart emojis. One user Ayush Pandit ji wrote Jai Hind. One user Raunak asked if they should bow down in front of him. He added Alakh Pandey sir is the real king.

Another social media user said Alakh sir is the best. One user said this is a very proud moment for Physics Wallah. One user said sir is looking like a superhero. As for Mathematics, he believed that practicing regularly was the most important thing for him. Other interests of Nilkrishna include archery. He has participated at both state and national levels, and he finds joy in the sport.  He said archery helps him understand the importance of focusing his attention on his goals. Nilkrishna likes watching movies and said they are a great source of enjoyment and relaxation.

He likes to watch a movie after exams and occasionally treats himself to one each week too. Gajare aims to keep up the pace for the JEE-Advanced exam and hopes to get into the IITs. He said he wants to secure admission in IIT-Bombay in the computer science branch.

Anand Kumar, mathematician and founder of Super 30 had an unexpected meeting with one of his ex-students while shopping in a mall in New Jersey, USA. Kumar took to X and posted that his heartwarming encounter with Sandeep Chaudhary and said his meeting was nothing short of a filmy scene.

Anand Kumar shared a picture with Sandeep Chaudhary in a heartfelt post and wrote that many such incidents have happened in his life that seem like something from a film. He said he had come to buy some stuff for his children in a mall in New Jersey, USA. He was pleasantly surprised when he was called from behind. Anand Sir, you are here in America? The man introduced himself as Sandeep Chaudhary, his ex-student. Chaudhary came forward and touched Anand’s feet. Chaudhary also insisted on letting him pay for the stuff  Anand had bought at the mall.

Sandeep Chaudhary thanked Anand Kumar for his blessings and said Today, it is because of Anand’s blessings that he had reached here. Chaudhary also dropped him off in his car at the place where Anand had been staying. Anand Kumar wrote in his post that there cannot be a more proud moment for a teacher like him than this.

The post has gone viral on social media with 256400 views till now which are only increasing. Large number of social media users, Anand Kumar fans and students commented on the social media post. One X user Pradeep Rawat said Anand Kumar has done the work of a true teacher.

One X user Kajal Singh recounted her own experience that her father was also a teacher and students used to regularly come to her house to give their respect to their teacher.
