Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez’s 200 crore money laundering case has now taken a new turn. Recently, Jacqueline recorded her statement in Patiala Court against the gangster Sukesh Chandrasekhar. During this, the Kick actor said that Sukesh played with her emotions and ruined her career. Jacqueline says that she didn’t even know the real name of Sukesh.

For the unversed, Jacqueline Fernandez appeared in the Patiala Court in the money laundering case today. During this, she kept her words in front of the court. According to media reports, Jacqueline has claimed that she knew about Sukesh Chandrasekhar being a government official. Pinky Irani convinced Shaan Muthathil, the actor’s make-up artist, that Sukesh is an officer in the Home Ministry. Apart from this, Sukesh had also described himself as the owner of Sun TV and J Jayalalithaa as his aunt.

Jacqueline revealed that Sukesh had said that he is a big fan of her work and wanted to work with Fernandez in South Indian films. “I used to call and video call at least three to four times a day with Sukesh. He would sometimes call at night before leaving for my shoot. But I was not aware that he talks from jail. He used to call from some corner. Sofa and curtain were also visible in the background.”

Also, Jacqueline told that Pinky did not tell anything even after knowing about Sukesh’s criminal background. Sukesh told his name as Shekhar. At the same time, the Bollywood acotr claimed that her last talk with Sukesh was over a call on 8 August 2021. After that he did not her and she came to know about his criminal background later.

An FIR has been filed against actors Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and three others following a complaint that a scene in the film ‘Jaat’ has “hurt the sentiments” of the Christian community, police reported on Friday (April 18, 2025).

According to the complaint submitted by a leader of the Christian community, the film, which premiered on April 10, features scenes that allegedly disrespect Jesus Christ and Christian religious practices.

Viklav Gold, the complainant, has also pointed out the controversial timing of the film’s release, coinciding with Good Friday, observed on April 18 of this year.

The FIR, lodged on Wednesday evening at the Jalandhar Cantt police station by Sanjeev Kumar, the station house officer, names actors Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Vineet Kumar, as well as director Gopichand and producer Naveen.

“The FIR was filed under Section 299 of the IPC, which pertains to deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings by insulting a religion or its beliefs,” the SHO stated.
