Bollywood actor and BJP leader Paresh Rawal has got a big relief from the Calcutta High Court. The High Court has ordered the Talatala police not to take any coercive action on Paresh’s part for the cook fish for Bengalis remark, as Paresh had already apologized for the same.

According to media reports, the court has ordered that Paresh can be questioned in this matter through video conferencing. At the same time, the court will now hear the matter next on February 6.

For the unversed, during the Gujarat elections last year, Paresh Rawal also held election rallies in the state on behalf of the BJP. During this, he came in the headlines due to one of his statements. Following that the actor was accused of insulting Bengalis. Paresh had also apologized on social media after the controversy escalated.

He clarified that his statement was in reference to illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas. When the video of this speech went viral, Paresh had to face the wrath of social media users also. Later, a case was also registered against Paresh Rawal.

On the work front, Paresh was last seen in the film Sharmaji Namkeen. Due to the sudden demise of Rishi Kapoor, she was cast in this film for a few scenes. Talking about his upcoming project, he will soon be seen in Shehzada. Karthik Aryan and Kriti Sanon have played lead roles in this film. Paresh will also be seen in an important role in the film. Shehzada will hit the theaters on February 17.

Talsania’s condition is reported to be critical. Over his illustrious career, he has appeared in more than 200 films, and his daughter, Shikha Talsania, is also an actress.

Veteran actor Tiku Talsania suffered a brain stroke on January 10, as confirmed by his family on Saturday. Following initial reports suggesting he had experienced a heart attack, his wife, Deepti Talsania, clarified the situation. The 70-year-old actor is currently being treated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

“He suffered a brain stroke, not a heart attack. He attended a film screening and began feeling unwell around 8 PM, at which point he was promptly admitted to the hospital,” Deepti told to a TV reporter.

Talsania’s condition is reported to be critical. Over his illustrious career, he has appeared in more than 200 films, and his daughter, Shikha Talsania, is also an actress.

In October 2024, Talsania mentioned that he was feeling “slightly jobless” and was actively seeking work. In an interview, he expressed that he was waiting for the right roles to come his way, stating, “Times have changed, and the right kind of roles are not being offered. Unless you become integral to the story or are cast as a character whose narrative intertwines with the plot, work is hard to come by. I am slightly jobless at the moment, but I want to work, and the right opportunities are not materializing.”

Talsania shared that he is open to auditions and recognizes that the industry has changed. “Since COVID-19, the working dynamic has shifted. People are becoming more astute and progressive. I appreciate this new approach to work, and I’m remaining patient. I’m actively seeking opportunities,” he noted.

Some of Talsania’s notable films include Andaz Apna Apna, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Devdas, Coolie No. 1, Dhamaal, Partner, Phir Hera Pheri, Hungama, Raju Chacha, Hero No. 1, among many others. He was last seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, alongside RajKummar Rao and Triptii Dimri.

In addition to his film work, Talsania has appeared in various television shows, gaining acclaim for his comic timing and versatility in portraying diverse characters.

Director Shankar’s much-anticipated film Game Changer has opened to a phenomenal response at the box office, raking in Rs 51.25 crore nett in India on its first day. Featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles, the film has become one of the most talked-about releases in Indian cinema this year.

According to Sacnilk, the Telugu version of the film contributed significantly, earning Rs 42 crore nett, followed by Rs 7 crore from its Hindi version. The Tamil version added Rs 2.1 crore, while the Kannada and Malayalam versions contributed Rs 0.1 crore and Rs 0.05 crore, respectively.

Game Changer is a notable release for both its leads. It marks Ram Charan’s first solo film since Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019, which also happened to be Kiara Advani’s last Telugu project. Actor Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband, Virat Kohli, recently visited Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, with their children, Vamika and Akaay. Their interaction with the saint has gained significant attention on social media.

In a widely shared clip, Anushka is seen asking the saint for the “devotion of love” and expressing that she frequently listens to his spiritual discourses. Virat, on the other hand, quietly held Akaay in his arms, listening intently to the conversation.

During her discussion with Premanand Maharaj, Anushka shared, “The last time I came, I had a few questions in my heart.
