Pathaan shows cancelled in Indore, Hindu organisations protest in Gwalior

With the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, protests have erupted in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore and Gwalior with Hindu outfits staging demonstrations.

Shows of film Pathaan have also been cancelled at INOX in Indore and the fans had to return with a long face. The police commissioner has said that security arrangements should be made at all cinema halls so that law and order does not go haywire.

On the other hand, the film is facing backlash in Gwalior as well. Hindu organisations have blocked the road and the show was not allowed to go on.

Pathaan movie trailer has been in controversy ever since its release. It was to be opened in several theaters on Wednesday in Indore. Prior to this, right wing outfits have started protests. Department coordinator of Bajrang Dal, Tannu Sharma said that they will perform a demonstration at Kastur Cinema Ghar, Dhar Road. Along with this, the discussions of alk of doing protess in many theaters are also coming to the fore.

All have been ordered to keep adequate security arrangements

Indore Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra while talking to Dainik Bhaskar said that he has ordered DCPs and other officers of all zones. There will be sufficient force in all multiplexes and cinema halls. No untoward situation will be allowed there. Spectators will also be given complete security.

After the release of Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan, where there is an atmosphere of celebration among the fans, Hindu organizations have started demonstrating in theaters of Indore. Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers are reciting Hanuman Chalisa outside the cinema hall. Activists of Hindu organizations have come with sticks in their hands to stop the show. The film Pathaan has been facing backlash ever since the song Besharam Rang was released. The Hindu outfits have protested against the saffron bikini Deepika Padukone wore in the song and also have called the lyrics of the song inappropriate.

Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran Drishyam franchise set for international remake

The Panorama Studios have joined hands with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films to make Drishyam in Hollywood.

Ajay Devgan and Shriya Saran, starring Drishyam, the cult franchise, is set to expand internationally following its enormous success in Indian and Chinese markets. The makers of the film have now revealed the new milestone for the franchise following the Korean adaptation.

To make Drishyam in Hollywood, Panorama Studios has partnered with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films. The romantic comedy Blended, which reunited Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore back together, was produced by Gulfstream Pictures, which Bill Bindley and Mike Karz co-founded.

The international remake rights to the first and second installments of Drishyam have been acquired by Panorama Studios from Aashirvad Cinemas, the original producers. A production arrangement for a Spanish-language version of the popular film is currently being finalised, and it will soon be released in the US and Korea.

Chairman and Managing Director of Panorama Studios, Kumar Mangat Pathak, who has acquired the rights to the franchise, expressed his thoughts in a press release, saying, they are excited to celebrate this story with audiences worldwide because Drishyam’s clever narrative has a universal appeal. They are thrilled to be working together with JOAT Films and Gulfstream Pictures to adapt this story into English for the Hollywood market. The release also said that their goal is to develop Drishyam in 10 countries over the next three to five years, after Korea and Hollywood.

Gulfstream Pictures’ Bill Bindley and Mike Karz jointly released the following statement, saying they are thrilled to be working with Panorama Studios and JOAT Films on an English-language adaptation of Drishyam. The film is a classic thriller that has captured the attention of viewers everywhere. They are eager to release the film to American audiences, the statement said.

The Malayalam film’s remake has been a hit in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Sinhala, and Chinese, while its Korean and English versions are currently under production.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced today that they are expecting their first child. Fans were thrilled after the couple shared this news on their social media handles. The star couple also revealed that the arrival of their little bundle of joy is due in September 2024.

Reports state that Deepika is supposedly in her second trimester. The duo tied the knot in 2018 after dating for several years.

On Thursday, Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy through an Instagram post. The post read, September 2024, and it featured adorable images of balloons, baby shoes, and baby clothes.

As soon as the couple shared the news, their fans and friends could not stop themselves from showering love and blessings in the comment section. Taking to comment sections, Aushmann Khurrana’s wife, Tahira Kashyap, wrote, God bless and added a red heart emoji. Actor Patralekhaa also dropped the triple red heart emoji. Meanwhile, a fan wished only the best for the couple. Another fan said, so thrilled to hear this news. While others also congratulated Deepika and Ranveer for their new journey.

However, there were rumors going around earlier suggesting Deepika Padukone might be expecting. The speculation originated from reports that she hid her baby bump at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) by donning a shimmery saree. Deepika Padukone looked stunning in a couture saree and Sabyasachi Mukherjee-designed handcrafted jewellery.

Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer began dating eachother after co-starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s rom-drama film Ram-Leela, which was released on November 15, 2013. On November 14 and 15, 2018, the actors got married in two separate wedding ceremonies at Lake Como, Italy.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone recently made a stunning appearance in Siddharth Anand’s thrilling aerial action film Fighter, which was her debut project alongside Hrithik Roshan. Vikrant Massey shares The Sabarmati Report teaser on social media

The Sabarmati Report is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 3rd May 2024. The film narrates the story of the events that took place in the Sabarmati Express on the morning of 27th February 2002, near the Godhra Railway station in the state of Gujarat.

Vikrant Massey took to his Instagram handle on Wednesday and posted the teaser of his upcoming film The Sabarmati Report. The film also stars Ridhi Dogra, Rashi Khanna in important roles. Vikrant Massey is seen playing the role of a journalist, Samar Kumar who is sitting in a studio as he announces the news on February 27, 2002 when the Godhra train burning occurred.

At the end of the teaser the text that reads 27th February 2002. Godhra, Gujarat. A homage to the 59 innocent lives burned to death. The Sabarmati Report is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 3rd May 2024. The film narrates the story of the events that took place in the Sabarmati Express on the morning of 27th February 2002, near the Godhra Railway station in the state of Gujarat.

The film has been produced by Ektaa Kapoor. It has been co-produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan. The film has been directed by Ranjan Chandel. The Sabarmati Express fire not only consumed Gujarat but also shook the nation. On February  27, 2002, a bogie of the Sabarmati Express train leaving from Godhra station in Gujarat was set on fire by a frenzied mob.

In this incident 59 people returning from Ayodhya were killed, after which riots broke out across Gujarat. An FIR was registered against 1500 people in the Godhra incident. After this incident, communal violence broke out across Gujarat and there was huge loss of life and property. According to government reports, 1200 people died in the riots. The Sabarmati report is based on this incident.

Vikrant Massey has been basking in the success of his last release 12th Fail. The film directed by Vidu Vinod Chopra, is a biographical drama based on the life of the Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame poverty to achieve the position of an IPS officer.
