Brahmastra Promotions: Ranbir Kapoor apologizes for his Phaloed remark on Alia, blames his bad sense of humour
Ranbir Kapoor was trolled for his phaloed remark at Alia Bhatt’s weight gain.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was recently under scrutiny when tweeple expressed their dismay over his joke which was directed towards wife Alia Bhatt.
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherjee were on an Instagram Live when Alia was asked when will she appear with the team for promotions. While answering, the Raazi actor said that they will soon do more interactive session will media and the audience, but the reason why they are not ‘phaloed’ everywhere is because of their marketing strategy.
However, Ranbir interrupted Alia and said ‘somebody has phaloed but’ hinting at Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy weight gain. While Alia didn’t seem to mind the joke at all and took it as a sport, but tweeple didn’t hold back and bashed the Brahmastra actor left and right.
Not did the Twitter users tagged him as an insensitive husband but also called him a body shammer. But this morning when Ranbir Kapoor touched down Chennai to promote his film along with Nagarjuna and ace director SS Rajamouli, who’s presenting the Tamil-Telugu version of Brahmastra, the 39-year-old was asked about his reaction to the trolls.
The actor was quick to accept the reaction from tweeple and said that he did not intent to hurt any feelings. Ranbir Kapoor said that he has a poor sense of humour and sometimes it falls flat on his face. However, The Brahmastra added that he talked about it to his wife Alia and she didn’t mind the joke.
Ranbir Kapoor and the entire team is gearing up for the massive release of Brahmastra in five languages. The film features, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in lead roles.
Brahmastra will hit theaters on September 9 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. It will be interesting to see whether after the fail of Shamshera at box office, will Ranbir Kapoor be able to justify his comeback at silver screen after four years.

The film is based on the true life event of late Jaswant Singh Gill. He lead India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 6

The trailer of Mission Raniganj has been unveiled. The Akshay Kumar film tells the story one man’s mission to save the lives of helpless miners who are stuck in a coal mine. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra as Akshay Kumar’s wife. In the trailer a terrible incident takes place as a group of miners are stuck working underground as a mine collapses. The miners are pleading for their lives to be saved. On the other side of the ground Akshay Kumar is ready to launch a rescue mission.
He plays the role of a sikh engineer in the film. The film is based on the true life event of late Jaswant Singh Gill. He lead India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 6. The song Jalsa 2.0 was released by the makers a few days ago. The track has received good response from the fans. In the song Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra break into a bhangra at a celebratory and colourful event.
The lyrics of the song have been sung by Satinder Sartaaj. Parineeti and Akshay are seen dressed in Punjabi attire. The duo can be seen performing Bhangra on catchy desi beats. The film is directed by Tinnu Suresh Desai and produced by Ajay Kapoor Deep Shikha Deshmukh, Jacky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani.
Akshay Kumar has previously worked with Tinu Suresh Desai for the film Rustom. Mission Raniganj will clash with Bhumi Pednekar’s next Thank You for coming. The film is directed by Karan Boolani and also stars Shehnaaz Gill. Akshay will also be seen in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on February 16, 2024. Akshay also has an action thriller film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan along with Tiger shroff. He also has Housefull 5 in his upcoming films.

Parineeti Chopra, Raghav Chadha share their wedding photos, says forever begins now
The wedding festivities took place on September 24 at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur.

After keeping their fans awaited, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha shared their wedding pictures on the social media platforms. Parineeti opted for a blush lehenga and Raghav adored in a cream sherwani for the special day. The photos shared by the couple give glimpses of their jaimala and pheras.
Among all, two pictures catch special attention, one the bride’s veil and the other in which the groom plants a kiss on the bride’s forehead. Sharing the pictures, the actor wrote that from the very first chat at the breakfast table, their hearts knew that they were the one.
She expressed that they have been waiting for this day for a long time. She added that they are blessed to be Mr. and Mrs and that they couldn’t have lived without each other. She concluded the post saying that their forever begins now.
The wedding festivities took place on September 24 at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur. After Raghav’s sehrabandi at Lake Palace, the baaraat left for the wedding venue in curtained boats, according to reports. A jaimala was followed by the pheras and then the vidaai.
Parineeti-Raghav’s pre-wedding ceremonies included haldi, mehendi and a 90s-themed sangeet where singer Navraj Hans performed live. As per reports, last week, an ardas and a Sufi night were held in New Delhi. The couple will fly to Delhi for reception today, September 25.
Guests at the wedding included several of Raghav Chadha’s AAP colleagues. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann also attended the special occasion. Sania Mirza, a close friend of Parineeti Chopra, also took part in the wedding along with Manish Malhotra who designed the bride’s wardrobe.
Karan Johar was scheduled to be at the wedding in Udaipur but is reported to have had a family emergency. The most notable celebrity absence was Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin. Priyanka was busy working, her mother Madhu said while flying out of Udaipur this morning.

The theme of the wedding was a pearl-white wedding and Parineeti opted for a Manish Malhotra-designed ivory lehenga whereas Raghav on the other hand coordinated with his wife and opted for an ivory-coloured outfit.
However, the couple did not share any pictures from their wedding on social media, their fans are eagrly waiting to see the pictures of the new couple.

Actor Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin, her husband Nick Jonas, and their daughter Malti did not travel to India to attend the wedding. Priyanka’s mother Dr. Madhu Chopra, attended the event. On Instagram, Priyanka wished Parineeti and gave the impression that she might not be at the latter’s wedding.
Dolly Sidhu, celebrity mehndi artist, shared the pictures from Parineeti’s mehndi ceremony. The actor can be seen wearing a green-blue kurta with minimal makeup.
According to sources, the groom’s family will organise the couple’s wedding reception in Chandigarh on September 30. The Taj Chandigarh will host the event. In Delhi, there will be another reception after this.
Meanwhile, Parineeti and Raghav have been the talk of the town ever since their love story came to light. After dating each other, the couple got engaged in May in Delhi in the presence of their close family members and friends.
