Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna Ghattamaneni passed away on Tuesday at 4 am due to cardiac arrest. He had difficulty in breathing, due to which he was also admitted to Continental Hospital in Hyderabad on November 14.

Talking about Krishna, the doctors at the hospital said that he was brought to the emergency department at 1 pm on November 15 and after that he died due to cardiac arrest. His condition was critical and he was being treated on ventilator.

The news of veteran actor passing away has instigated a wave of mourning in the entire cinema industry.

Superstar Rajinikanth tweeted that the demise of Krishna garu was a great loss to the Telugu film industry.  Working with him in 3 films are memories that he will always cheris, Rajini Sir wrote. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to his family, adding that, may Krishna’s soul rest in peace.

Actor Kamal Haasan also expressed sadness on the demise of the veteran actor. He wrote on Twitter, an icon of Telugu cinema, Krishna Garu, is no more. An era ends with his demise and that he wanted to share the pain of Mahesh Babu, who has to bear this third emotional trauma of losing a mother, brother and now his father. My deepest condolence dear Mahesh gaaru, Haasan tweeted.

Mahesh Babu lost his mother only 2 months ago. Now the father’s death has broken Mahesh Babu badly. He was very close to his parents. Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna was a well-known Telugu actor. Mahesh Babu’s elder brother Ramesh Babu had also passed away in January this year after prolonged liver disease.

Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna acted in 350 films. He was one of the top actors of his time. Apart from being an actor, producer, director, he was also a politician. Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is all set to start his film journey along with his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni under the production Dhoni Entertainment.

The production house announced its first-ever project in Tamil Let’s Get Married. Helmed by Ramesh Thamilmani, the film will star Harish Kalyan and Ivana in the lead roles. Let’s Get Married is said to be a romantic drama.

Dhoni Entertainment announced the film with a title-look motion poster and character posters on social media. Posting them, the production house shared their excitement with the first project.

The film will also star Nadiya and Yogi Babu in important roles.

Talking about the male lead, Harish Kalyan is best known for his acting prowess in Pyaar Prem Kaadhal, Poriyaalan, and Vil Ambu. Kalyan rose to prominence with his stint in Bigg Boss Tamil season 1 where he ended up as the second runner-up.

He made his acting debut in 2010 with Sindhu Samaveli. However, it was his other films that helped him to create a niche for himself in the entertainment industry.

On the other hand, Ivana is a popular face in both the Tamil and Malayalam film industries. She started her career as a child actor in the Malayalam film Masters. Three years later, she featured in the 2015 film Rani Padmini followed by Anuraga Karikkin Vellam in 2016.

Reports said Ivana was spotted by director Bala who offered her a Tamil film Naachiyaar co-starring Joythika and GV Prakash Kumar. In 2019, she got nominated for two prestigious accolades including the 8th SIIMA Awards for Best Debut Actress and Filmfare Awards South for Best Supporting Actress for Naachiyaar.

After quoting the dialogue, Shah Rukh Went on to write and say that he perceives things in life to be the same as one is not meant to plan their return, they are only meant to plan their move forward.

The star actor further wrote and advised the people to not plan the return and instead finish what they started. Shah Rukh Khan signed off his Tweet by saying that it is just an advice by 57-year-old, implying that it comes from a place of maturity and wisdom.

Vande Mataram: Sohail Khan unveils trailer, song of Ashmit Patel starrer Sector Balakot

The film is all set to go on floors on February 17.

Starring Ashmit Patel and Jinal Pandya, the much-awaited trailer of Sector Balakot was unveiled by Sohail Khan recently in Mumbai. Inspired by the Balakot attack, the film also features the Special 26 fame Vipul Gupta, Jitendra Trehan, and Puneet Issar in important roles.

Along with the trailer, Khan also released the film’s song Vande Mataram at the event which was loved by all, reports said. The film is all set to go on floors on February 17.

Speaking at the trailer launch event, Sohail Khan said he found a good effort by the makers after watching the teaser, trailer, and songs of the film. He also applauded the actors and technicians for giving 200 per cent for the film with a good subject.

The actor-producer-director continued that Ashmit Patel has been his friend for years and this is why he decided to attend the event. Talking about his friendship with Patel, Khan said their families are friends of friends.

Khan also highlighted the OTT era and said it is difficult to bring the audience to the theatres due to the advent of OTT and in such a situation, he congratulated the director of the film, Hitesh Khristy, for releasing a film like Sector Balakot in theatres.

Ashmit Patel also spoke on the occasion and thanked Khan for launching his trailer. He also hailed him for redefining friendship and blessing the team with his presence.

Written and directed by Hitesh Khristy, Sector Balakot has been bankrolled by Hitesh Khristy Film Production. The songs of the film have been composed and crooned by Sharib-Toshi.
