The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV will be taken off the air for an indefinite period of time. The difficulty of host Kapil Sharma to shoot episodes is happening because he has planned a US trip. Therefore, due to this reason, it led the producers to take a hiatus.

According to a source who is familiar and close to The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil’s USA tour scheduled for mid-June is going to be a month-long. Hence, Kapil will be unavailable to shoot.

As a result, the crew agreed to take a break at the same time. However, some of the episodes will be shot in advance, in order to keep fans entertained before the show went on hiatus.

Kapil Sharma decided to take a break last year after becoming a parent for the second time in the month of January 2021. When a fan asked Kapil Sharma during a Twitter question-answer session why the program is shutting off the air, he said, ‘because I need to be there at the house with my wife to greet and welcome our second kid.’  The Kapil Sharma Show returned in June 2021, because of the demand by the fans.

According to the source, the gap this time will also be brief, which will last only for a few weeks. Furthermore, Kapil and his staff, on the other hand, will make that decision in some days. Kapil is currently balancing his program with his Bollywood film, directed by Nandita Das. The filming is now taking place in Orissa.

The third season of The Kapil Sharma Show is presently running on Sony TV. Kiku Sharda, Sudesh Lehri, Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakravarti,  Bharti Singh, Archana Puran Singh, and Chandan Prabhakar also appear in the show.

Why Kapil Sharma was trolled after supporting Punjab’s new Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann?

A recent tweet of Kapil Sharma in support of Punjab’s new Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann drew considerable backlash on social media. The comedian, on the other hand, had a prepared retort for one of the trolls. His clever reaction was well received by the audience. Before entering politics, Bhagwant Mann, who just took the oath of office as Punjab Chief Minister, was a comedian and actor like Kapil Sharma. Although, these two have already appeared in separate seasons of the same TV show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

Kapil had quoted the Punjab Chief Minister’s tweet on opening an anti-corruption hotline. Kapil commented on the tweet, so proud of you paji (brother). At the conclusion, he added emojis of hugging, hearts, and clapping. In response to this post, one social media user stated that Kapil was complimenting the new Punjab chief minister for personal advantage. ‘ Are you also wooing him for a Rajya Sabha seat like Harbhajan?’ said one of the users. Moreover, the Punjab government has appointed cricketer Harbhajan Singh as one of the state’s three members to the Rajya Sabha, the upper chamber of Parliament.

The upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, promises a whirlwind of comedic chaos and complicated relationships. The recently released trailer introduces Arjun Kapoor navigating a “love circle” far more intricate than a simple love triangle. His character finds himself entangled between his ex-wife, Bhumi Pednekar, and his current flame, Rakul Preet Singh. The comedic premise hinges on Bhumi’s unexpected retrograde amnesia, resulting in her forgetting the past five to six years of her life, including her marriage to Arjun.

As Bhumi gradually recovers her memories, Arjun’s affection for Rakul becomes increasingly apparent, throwing him into a hilarious predicament. The trailer showcases the ensuing comedic rivalry between Bhumi and Rakul, both vying for Arjun’s attention and affection. Their competitive pursuit of Arjun’s heart forms the core of the film’s humour, filled with witty banter and escalating attempts to win him over. Adding to the comedic mix is Harsh Gujral, playing Arjun’s supportive friend, who likely provides crucial (and perhaps hilariously misguided) advice amidst the romantic turmoil.

The trailer’s release generated a buzz online, with viewers expressing varied opinions. Some drew comparisons to the earlier romantic comedy De De Pyaar De, highlighting a similar theme of complex relationships and age differences. However, some viewers expressed concern that the trailer lacked the comedic punch expected from the genre. Others applauded the innovative approach to the trailer’s presentation, noting the creative integration of the actors’ real lives into the trailer’s narrative. The overall reception indicates a significant level of anticipation, with many hoping the film will deliver on its comedic promise.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for his successful comedies Pati Patni Aur Woh and Khel Khel Mein, Mere Husband Ki Biwi boasts a stellar cast. Along with Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh, the film features Dino Morea, Shakti Kapoor, and Harsh Gujral in supporting roles. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh under the banner of Puja Films, the film is set for a theatrical release on February 21st, 2025. The anticipation is high to see if Mere Husband Ki Biwi can successfully navigate the comedic tightrope it has set for itself.

The Diary of Manipur: Monalisa, viral girl from Maha Kumbh, gets a role in Sanoj Mishra’s directorial

Mishra stresses the importance of authenticity, stating, “Our focus is to nurture her innate talent, allowing her natural grace and innocence to shine through. We want her performance to be a genuine reflection of her spirit.”

From garland seller to Bollywood starlet: Indore’s Monalisa Bhosle’s remarkable rise. Monalisa, the captivating young woman who unexpectedly became an internet sensation selling garlands at the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, is trading flower petals for film sets. Her journey, a captivating blend of serendipity and determination, is set to become a cinematic reality. Director Sanoj Mishra, celebrated for his socially conscious films such as The Diary of West Bengal, has cast Bhosle in his highly anticipated upcoming movie, The Diary of Manipur.

Spotted amidst the vibrant chaos of the Kumbh Mela, Monalisa’s innocent beauty and captivating charm quickly captured the hearts of millions online. Her story, a testament to the power of social media, reached director Mishra, who was deeply moved by her resilience and spirit. He saw in her not just a pretty face, but a compelling narrative waiting to be told. Following a phone call to her father, a contract was swiftly signed in Maheshwar, officially marking Bhosle’s entry into the world of Bollywood.

Mishra’s choice is far from arbitrary. Bhosle’s role in The Diary of Manipur will draw upon the very essence of her own life. As Mishra eloquently explains, “Monalisa hails from a humble, nomadic family, making a living by selling garlands. This resonates deeply with her character in the film: the daughter of a retired Manipur army soldier, harbouring a similar unwavering ambition—to join the army herself. The film will delve into the struggles she faces, the obstacles she overcomes, and ultimately, her journey towards fulfilling her dreams.”

To prepare Bhosle for her big-screen debut, Mishra and his team will provide comprehensive acting training, meticulously designed to preserve her natural charm and unassuming demeanour. Mishra stresses the importance of authenticity, stating, “Our focus is to nurture her innate talent, allowing her natural grace and innocence to shine through. We want her performance to be a genuine reflection of her spirit.”

With a substantial budget of ₹20 crore, The Diary of Manipur is poised to be a significant cinematic undertaking, slated to begin filming in February. Mishra’s decision to cast Bhosle carries a profound message, challenging conventional industry norms and preconceived audience expectations.

He firmly asserts, “Success in this industry is not solely defined by physical attributes; acting prowess is paramount. Monalisa possesses the desire, and we will cultivate her skills. If Sunny Leone could redefine perceptions, then surely a girl from a nomadic community can prove that decency and simplicity can also illuminate Bollywood.”

Mishra’s casting choice also serves as a direct response to the pervasive nepotism within the industry. He champions the inclusion of fresh talent, stating emphatically, “My films aren’t about star power; the story itself is the star. Stories like Monalisa’s deserve a platform, and audiences are increasingly receptive to authentic narratives.” Bhosle’s story, therefore, is not just a personal triumph, but a symbol of hope and a challenge to the established order of Bollywood.
