The Night Manager 2 Review: Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala’s series is a suspense thriller

The Night Manager is a very handsome show. Aditya Roy Kapur looks suave and debonair. Sobhita Dhulipala acts like a charm. Anil Kapoor continues to prove that age is just a number with screen presence which nobody can match. The series has been created by Sandeep Modi.

The series takes the audience through a journey of gorgeous locations. The cinematography is stunning. There is an eye catching sequence involving weapons demonstration carried out in the desert that is an easy highlight of the final part of the NIght Manager. Not all the scenes match this quality. However an explosion aftermath scene in the final episode felt jarring.

The production design is simply impressive. The NIght Manager Part 2 delivers a thrilling finish to the series thanks to some tense sequences and mind games, despite the storyline being predictable. Shaan (Aditya Roy Kapur) has been offered the position of the CEO by Shelly (Anil Kapoor), thereby replacing his suspicious lieutenant BJ( Saswata Chatterjee). While Shaan gets deep in Shelly’s murky dealings, he also enters into the forbidden zone by having a physical relationship with Shelly’s sultry but troubled girlfriend Kaveri (Sobhita Dhulipala)

Meanwhile his RAW handler, Lipika(Tillotama Shome) is shocked to discover the real identity of the mysterious Indradhanush, who has bee feeding Shelly information about RAW. She begins to doubt Shaan’s intentions. The Night Manager, is the official remake of a British series of the same name starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie, continues to prove itself to be a very competently made adaptation.

The final part consisting of three episodes of nearly an hour’s runtime each ,is highly engaging, both visually and narratively. There are quite a few surprises, and twists and turns keeping the audience on their toes, especially in the finale,and an enjoyable cameo from Prashant Narayanan, who plays a shady dealer of weapons. The show continues to be gripping in its handling of tense sequences.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.

In Welcome, Khan played Balu, a supporting character in the comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and other prominent actors.

Khan’s career also included television work, with his credits spanning a wide range of acting roles over the years.

Mushtaq Khan dies at 56

The actor’s death was reported on September 24, 2026. Reports said Khan had been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with liver cancer and had been hospitalised for around 15 days. Further details surrounding his death were awaited in the initial reports.

Mushtaq Khan was 56. IMDb lists his date of birth as December 31, 1969.

Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on Instagram on Saturday through a post featuring a baby’s footprint.

The newborn is the couple’s second daughter. Deepika and Ranveer became parents for the first time in September 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Dua.

The couple has not announced the name of their newborn daughter in the post.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s last spotting

Just a day before the announcement, Deepika Padukone visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple with Ranveer Singh and his parents.

Deepika was seen wearing an orange and purple kurta set, while Ranveer wore a purple kurta with white trousers. The visit came as the couple awaited the arrival of their second child.
