Television actor Tunisha Sharma’s suicide has come as a shock to the entertainment industry, her family and her millions of fans. Police have been attempting to glean the truth behind Sharma’s suicide, which has raised several doubts.

Now, her mother has accused Sharma’s rumoured boyfriend co-star from the Sony SAB show Ali Baba Sheezan Khan behind Tunisha’s death. The 20-year-old actor’s mother filed a complaint against Khan and alleged that he used and cheated Tunisha which made her upset and pushed her to the edge of taking away her life.

Tunisha’s mother, Vanita, alleged in a video message that Sheezan had promised to marry her daughter but then broke up with her. Despite being involved with another woman, he continued a relationship with Tunisha. He used her for three-four months, she said. She also demanded strict punishment for Khan. She even thanked the media for its support.

While filing a complaint against Sheezan Khan, the police said the deceased actor’s mother alleged that Tunisha and Sheezan were in love and the latter had broken up with her 15 days back. Sharma’s mother has claimed that her daughter was in depression because of him.

According to the reports, Tunisha had a panic attack on December 16 after learning that her boyfriend Sheezan was involved with another woman. Sheezan revealed to her his relationship and his love for another woman on December 15. Her mother said Tunisha kept repeating Sheezan did wrong to me. Sheezan cheated on me.

On the basis of Sharma’s mother complaint, the Waliv police have arrested Sheezan and have also registered a case against him under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

The TV actor allegedly died by suicide on Saturday during a shoot at Vasai near Mumbai. She was shooting for a TV show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, also starring Khan. She even shared a video of her getting dolled up for the shoot a few hours ago before her suicide.

Tunisha was found hanging inside one of the makeup rooms and rushed to a hospital, where she was declared dead.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.

In Welcome, Khan played Balu, a supporting character in the comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and other prominent actors.

Khan’s career also included television work, with his credits spanning a wide range of acting roles over the years.

Mushtaq Khan dies at 56

The actor’s death was reported on September 24, 2026. Reports said Khan had been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with liver cancer and had been hospitalised for around 15 days. Further details surrounding his death were awaited in the initial reports.

Mushtaq Khan was 56. IMDb lists his date of birth as December 31, 1969.
