CBSE extends deadline for uploading registration data for classes 9, 11, and 12 for 2021-22 session

Students in CBSE affiliated schools can register for classes 9 and 11 through the official website, cbse.nic.in. Schools will be needed to double-check data such as students’ names, parents’ names, date of birth, and other required information provided by students.

CBSE extends deadline for uploading registration data for classes 9, 11, and 12 for 2021-22 session

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled the last date of registration for students in Class 9 and Class 11. The deadline for submitting the details on the CBSE board’s official website has been extended up to January 6, 2022.

Due to the difficulties and challenges that children and parents are facing, the decision to extend the deadline was taken by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

According to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) statement, the Board has been informed that owing to current conditions, several schools and parents are having difficulty completing the registration procedure for students in Classes 9 and 11.

After considering the issues raised by students and parents, the CBSE has decided to extend the deadline for submitting registration data, it said.

The deadline for submitting enrollment data for Classes 9 and 11 with appropriate fees is now January 6, 2022.

Students in CBSE affiliated schools can register for classes 9 and 11 through the official website, cbse.nic.in. Schools will be needed to double-check data such as students’ names, parents’ names, date of birth, and other required information provided by students, as data submitted on the CBSE registration website cannot be modified.

The students who are from India will be charged Rs 300 in registration fees, while international Class 9th students will be charged Rs 500, and Class 11th students will be charged Rs 600.

On the OASIS platform, schools will be required to fill in the number of sections and students on a regular basis. Once data has been entered into the OASIS platform, it cannot be changed, and registration for the board exam should match the OASIS data.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) released the answer key for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 on Thursday, December 1. Candidates who appeared for the MBA entrance exam on November 27 can go through the answer key on the official website of IIM at iimcat.ac.in.

Around 2.22 lakh candidates appeared for the CAT exam out of the 2.55 lakh who had registered for the exam. The CAT exam was held in a computer-based mode for admission to various management programmes at IIMs.

How to check CAT 2022 answer key?

  • Go to the official website of IIM at iimcat.ac.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the IIM CAT 2022 answer key link.
  • Then, enter the required login details.
  • Click on submit.
  • After that, the answer key will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check the answer key and download it.

Apart from the answer key, the management school has also issued the response sheet and objector form for review on the official website. Candidates also have the option to object to the published answer key up until 5:00 pm on December 4.

IIM has issued a notice which reads, The Candidate Response tab and Objection Form tab for CAT 2022 will be active from 11.00 am on 1st December 2022 till 5:00 pm on 04th December 2022. Candidates will be able to see the Answer Key as well as their Individual Responses to Questions during this duration.

The IIM CAT, which was conducted on November 27, 2022, included three sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative ability (QA). There were a total of 66 questions, and candidates were given 40 minutes to solve each section.

The date for the result of CAT 2022 has not yet been revealed, but there are speculations that the result may most likely be released within the second week of January 2023.

The Indian Institute of Management Studies (IIM), Bangalore conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 on Sunday, November 27. The CAT 2022 was conducted in three phases. Candidates found the third slot a little more challenging as compared to slots 1 and 2. The overall difficulty level of CAT 2022 was moderately difficult.

Candidates who appeared in Slot 3 stated that the questions from DILR and Quant were a bit tough and time-consuming. Candidates stated that those who prepared well could get a high percentile and admission to top-notch business schools.

The actual marks a student receives on the CAT 2022 exam are known as CAT scores. This is computed based on the CAT exam format and scoring system. This represents the overall number of marks achieved throughout all sections. The CAT percentile measures how each candidate performed in relation to the other students who took the CAT exam in 2022. The CAT exam scores are converted into a scale from 100 to 0.

How to calculate CAT 2022 percentile?

  • Calculate the total number of candidates (N) who participated in the CAT.
  • All candidates who participated in the CAT should be given a rank (r), based on the scaled scores attained in the QA portion. If two or more applicants receive the same scaled score on the QA section, assign those candidates the same ranks.
  • Calculate a candidate’s percentile score (P) for the QA section as follows: P = [(N − r)/N] x 100.
  • Round off the calculated percentile score (P) of a candidate up to two decimal points.

The Indian Institute of Management Studies (IIM), Bangalore has concluded the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 slot 1. The first slot which started at 8:30 am continued till 10:30 am. The second slot of CAT 2022 is underway.

Candidates who appeared for CAT 2022 slot 1 had different opinions regarding the difficulty level and diversity of questions.

CAT 2022 Slot 1 Exam Analysis

The majority of the candidates believed that even though some of the questions were tricky and difficult, the majority of the questions were easy to moderate. The CAT 2022 exam concluded smoothly, as there were no big technical glitches. It is believed that candidates who prepare well for the CAT exam can get into top-notch business schools easily.

Candidates said that this year the question paper followed a different pattern from the mock tests. There were no questions from the bar graph and pie chart. Three questions were asked from Geometry and in VARC, there were five paragraphs and three summary questions.

One of the candidates from Hyderabad stated that most questions were on logical reasoning. The candidate found the diagram questions hard. Another student said English was easy but LR and quant were difficult because he practiced very less for them.

There will be three sections in the IIM CAT 2022 question paper which include Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.

The second slot of the CAT 2022 is underway. It started at 12:30 pm and will end at 2:30 pm. The third slot is scheduled for 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

CAT 2022 results will likely be declared by the second week of January 2023. CAT 2022 score will be valid till December 31, 2023.
