ICSE, ISC Semester 2 Exam 2022

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has advised schools not to conduct examinations if the whole syllabus is not finished, just days after announcing that semester 2 examinations for ISC Board Class 12 and ISCE Board Class 10 will be held from April end.

It is recommended that schools need not administer Pre-Board Examinations for ICSE and ISC applicants until the course has been properly prepared and completed.

The Pre-Board examinations are expected to be held between the end of March and the beginning of April, according to CISCE’s official notification.

The CISCE had previously said that the tentative commencement date for semester 2 exams will be April 2022 last week.

The council said that scheduling examinations for the end of April will provide schools enough time to revise and finish the semester 2 sections of the split and abridged syllabuses.

Following the interruptions created by the COVID-19 epidemic, the CISCE modified and reduced the syllabus for a number of disciplines in order to ease the strain on students.

Furthermore, some of the students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) to state boards such as Maharashtra Board, Jharkhand Board, and RBSE have filed a new petition in the Supreme Court, requesting the cancellation of offline examinations.

The Supreme Court is slated to hear the case on Monday, February 21. Advocate Anubha Srivastava Sahai filed the petition on students’ behalf including over 15 different states.
