A 70-year-old man married his 28-year-old daughter-in-law in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. This difficult-to-digest-story of marriage has become a topic of discussion as soon as the pictures of their wedding went viral on social media.

This story is from Barhalganj police station area of the Gorakhpur district. 70-year-old Kailash Yadav, a resident of Chhapia Umrao village, married his son’s 28-year-old wife, Pooja,  at a temple. Everyone was surprised by the marriage of a man with a girl 42 years younger than him.

The man had married his daughter-in-law with her consent. This wedding photo is going viral on social media.

Now, the photos of this married couple’s wedding at a temple are going viral on social media. As soon as the photo went viral, this marriage has become a topic of discussion in the area.

Notably, Kailash Yadav works as a watchman of Barhalganj police station. His wife died 12 years ago.

Elderly man marries his third son’s widow

Kailash Yadav has four sons and after the death of his third son, his daughter-in-law decided to settle her life elsewhere. But meanwhile the man got attracted to his daughter-in-law and to much surprise, she also began catching feelings for him. After this, breaking the shackles of age and of society, both went to the temple and married each other.

It is believed that both of them got married with mutual consent. No complaint was filed on behalf of any party at the police or administration level regarding this marriage.

Bring my daughter-in-law back or else…

In another incident in Rajasthan, a man climbled atop a water tank with his 2-year-old grandson demanding from the administration to bring back his estranged daughter-in law.

The matter had come to the fore from Baran district of Rajasthan. There was a stir in Chhabra town of the district after the news spread in the area. Notably, the woman had begun living with some other person and was not willing to return home. Reacting to which, the man climbed the water-tank and threatened of jumping off with his daughter-in-law’s 2-year-old son.

The reports said that Vinod, son of Radheshyam Khati, was married to a girl named Rakhi a few years back. The couple also has a 2-year-old son. But in the middle she ran away from her in-laws house with her paramour and began living in front with him at a rented house. Due to this the family was in tension. A lot of efforts were made to convince the daughter-in-law but still she did not return home and is still living with the same young man.

Parliament adjourned till 2 pm after opposition demands debate on the Hindenburg report

Parliament on Friday has been adjourned until 2 pm after the Opposition leaders demanded a debate on the Hindenburg report of the Gautam Adani-led group.

Reports said the session in Rajya Sabha was adjourned after Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankar refused to discuss issues raised by the Opposition including SBI, LIC, and other subjects. The Opposition rushed to the Well and raised slogans as soon as Speaker Om Birla welcomed a Parliamentary delegation from Zambia and began Question Hour, reports further said.

Following Budget 20230-24, both houses were to start a separate discussion on the tabled Union Budget 2023 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday.

Opposition parties have sought to raise the ongoing Adani fraud issue, Chinese transgressions at the border, and the role of Governors in States. Reports said Communist Party of India MP Binoy Viswam gave a suspension of business notice to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar and demanded a discussion on the Adani stock crash and termed the matter as urgent.

Meanwhile, Indian Billionaire Gautam Adani on Wednesday dropped to 15th position on the Forbes richest man list. Reports said the rout has wiped out around $92 billion of the value of the conglomerate’s listed units since last week.

After the Hindenburg report, Adani Enterprises and cancelled its Follow-On Public Offering (FPO). Reports said the company will return money to its investors.

On the other hand, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Budget 2023 on Wednesday. It was followed by the Union Cabinet Meeting.

The Budget Session started with the parliamentary address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday. PM Modi, in his address, said the Budget 2023 aimed the hopes and aspirations of the common citizens.

In its major announcement, Nirmala Saitharaman on Wednesday shared a new tax regime according to which people earning up to Rs 7 lakh per annum need not to pay any tax anymore.

A video has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi where a woman viciously beat up a man with slippers on a busy road. According to reports, the man was claiming that woman was his wife after which the woman went on to unleash the onslaught on the man.

In the video, a woman can be seen holding a man by his wrist and fetching a slipper from nearby the road. The woman then can be seen going on to unleash the assault on the man as she beats up the man with slippers repeatedly.

The video also shows the man saying and asking the woman to go ahead and beat him up. In the merciless beating by the woman, she loses grip of the slipper as it falls from her hand. A group of people can also be seen complacently surrounding the two and watching as the situation escalates further.

After the video went viral, many users came forward and added their take on the incident as one user wrote and said that the man is getting beaten by his own slippers that he was wearing. The user also highlighted the amusement of the situation of a man being beaten with his own slippers.

One user also wrote and questioned the ordeal of the situation and said is it possible for a man to call a random woman his wife, that too in a public place. The user further implied that the reason for the spat between the woman and the man could have been due to some other issue.

Another incident

Another incident recently came to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri where a girl gang was recorded viciously beating up a teen. The video of the incident, after it surfaced on the internet, went viral.
