Indian embassy advises students to make way to railway station for evacuation
In a tweet, the Indian embassy informed that the weekend curfew has been lifted in Kyiv and all students are advised to make their way to the railway station for an onward journey to the western parts. It also informed that the Ukraine Railways has arranged special trains for evacuations.

PM Modi has called a high-level meeting on the Ukraine conflict, with some ministers expected to be sent to the war-hit country’s neighbouring countries to ensure the safe evacuation of Indian students. The prime minister held a two-hour-long meeting with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla and a host of senior bureaucrats over the prevailing situation in Ukraine.

Blasts heard in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and Kharkiv
Blasts were reported on Monday in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, and Kharkiv, a second major city, according to Ukraine’s State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection. Zhytomyr, a city in northern Ukraine, was also hit by missiles overnight, said Ukrainian Ground Forces command on Facebook.
