Aam Aadmi Party’s youth wing leader Yuvrajsinh Jadeja is allegedly arrested for attacking on-duty police personnel outside the police office on April 5 in Gandhinagar. The case has been registered against the AAP leader who is sent to judicial custody in Sabarmati Jail on April 6 for attacking and dragging a constable on the bonnet of his car.

According to Inspector General Abhay Chudasama of Gandhinagar, Jadeja has been arrested and booked under section 307 of the IPC for an attempt to murder because his actions could have led to the death of the constable.

Speaking at a press conference, Abhay Chudasama and Gandhinagar SP Mayur Chavda uploaded an alleged dashcam video of Jadeja’s car, which shows a police officer being dragged across the bonnet. Chudasama said the camera which was installed on the dashboard of Jadeja’s car has recorded his act of mowing down policemen. He further said they have seized Jadeja’s smartphone and the footage of his actions. Both footage and cellphone have been given to the forensic science laboratory for further analysis, he added.

Jadeja came to the Gandhinagar police headquarters on Tuesday evening, according to IG Chudasama, to offer his support to job applicants (for the post of assistant schoolteachers or Vidyasahayaks) who were held by police and taken to the HQ since they did not have permission for their protest.

Following some heated arguments, Jadeja assaulted some on-duty cops and fled to his car as more cops arrived on the scene. After that, he sat in his car and attempted to flee the place. He did not stop his car when a constable signaled him to do so, said the IPS officer. He stated the cop, Laxman Vasava, hopped on the bonnet to rescue himself from the speeding car.

According to IG Chudasama, Jadeja’s car came to a halt after a short distance, and the officer managed to grab the bonnet to avoid being thrown off.

After uncovering suspected flaws in government employment exams, Jadeja has earned the title of a whistleblower. His accusations about irregularities and paper leaks led to the postponement of two clerk recruitment exams in recent months.

According to an official announcement, the four-lane, 27.20-meter-wide bridge has 2.50-meter-wide footpaths on each side. The unique design of Sudarshan Setu has a pathway flanked on both sides by pictures of Lord Krishna and verses from the Bhagavad Gita.On the higher sections of the footpath, solar panels have also been installed, producing one megawatt of electricity.

Before the bridge was built, pilgrims had to take boats to get to Beyt Dwarka.

The bridge was formerly known as Signature Bridge, but it is now called Sudarshan Setu, or Sudarshan Bridge. The popular Dwarkadhish temple of Lord Krishna is located in Dwarka town, approximately 30 kilometers away from the island of Beyt Dwarka, which is close to Okha harbor.

Additionally, PM Modi will offer prayers at the Dwarkadhish temple.

The first All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Gujarat will be inaugurated in Rajkot this afternoon by the prime minister.

The prime minister will virtually open four other recently constructed AIIMS in Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal in addition to the Rajkot AIIMS.

The Center spent Rs 6,300 crore building the five super-speciality hospitals, one of which is located in Rajkot.

The PM will also lay the foundation stone for several projects, including the construction of the regional scientific center in Jamnagar, the installation of a flue gas desulphurization (FGD) system at the Sikka Thermal Power Station in Jamnagar, and the expansion of the Dhoraji-Jamkandorna-Kalavad portion of NH-927D.
