Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again launched a scathing attack on BJP and Adani while addressing an election rally in Rajasthan’s Dholpur. During his speech, Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of diverting public’s attention, Adani Group of pick pocketing and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of using lathi.
Speaking to the huge gathering, Rahul Gandhi explained that when a pickpocket wants to pick someone’s pocket, the first thing they do is divert attention. Similarly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi diverts attention while Adani picks pockets and Amit Shah uses lathi, he added.
The Senior Congress leader continued that when people fill petrol, half of the petrol money goes to Adani. Likewise, when people pay electricity bills, even a little money goes into Adani’s pocket, he alleged. Furthermore, he also questioned how the wealth is being distributed in this country today and in whose hands is it going.
Rahul Gandhi further noted that earlier, the Indian government used to tell the youth of the country that if they protect the country, the government will protect them and their family for the rest of their life but now Narendra Modi has brought Agniveer, in which youth will be given jobs only for 4 years. He explained that this is because PM Modi has given all the money used for the defense of the army to Adani.
A few days ago, on Sunday Rahul Gandhi slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of working for businessman Gautam Adani round-the-clock. For the last few months, the Congress has been targeting the Adani group, accusing it of benefitting from the BJP government. The party has also been demanding a JPC probe into the allegations made by a US Research group Hindenburg.
In the rally, he also echoed the promise of conducting the caste census if his party comes to power. He said that the first thing that the Congress will do after retaining power in Rajasthan is go for a caste census. He added that the census will also be conducted nationwide after Congress comes to power at the centre.
Rajasthan will be conducting an assembly election on November 25 and the counting of the votes will take place on December 3.
