Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has the perfect opportunity to make a comeback in international cricket. Currently the Indian side is prepping up for the upcoming one-off test match between India and England.
Moreover, India has a lead of 2-1 in the IND vs ENG Test series and hence theirs nothing to lose. If India wins, they seal the series by lifting the trophy and if they lose the series will be a draw. Hence, Kohli has the free space to take time and perform.
Later the Test series will also be followed by the three-match T20 series and three-match ODI series. Men in blue will take down England in all three formats of the sport and Virat Kohli has adequate amount to time to get into the skin of England bowlers.

Kohli’s last international century came in 2019 and ever since not only Indian but cricket fans from all over the world have been waiting for him to score a 100. Here’s a little background history of the India VS England test series. The India tour of South Africa 2021 was played in July 20, 2021. It was a test five match series but both the teams played only four matches and the final match was cancelled due to covid-19.
The first test match between India and England was played on August 4, 2021 at Nottingham. However, none of the teams could register their first win and the match was drawn. The second match was played on August 12 in Lords and India won the match with 151 runs. The third match was played on August 25 in Leeds and giving a hard defeat to India, England won the match by an innings and 76 runs.
The fourth match was played on 2nd September in Kennington Oval, London. The match was again won by India with 157 runs. And now the final match will be played after nine months. The series is in India’s favour and men in blue need to register the last nail in the coffin to lift the trophy.
