Tweeple share hilarious memes after rumours of Cricket Board unhappy with Sourav Ganguly breaks out, watch the meme fest
The BCCI President was criticized for failing to do the right thing as president, and thus path of him becoming president was blocked.

If reports are to be believed, then Sourav Ganguly was shown doors after Cricket Board expressed their disappointment over his performance as BCCI President. Former India captain will not be reappointed as BCCI president in the upcoming elections on October 18. Most likely former experienced all-rounder Roger Binny will take over as the new president.
The entire board including Sourav Ganguly was recently granted a second straight term by the Supreme Court. Ganguly was the first former cricketer who took up the role of BCCI president in 2019. But seems like board believes that he will be unable to benefit Indian Cricket.
Reports also suggest that Sourav Ganguly was also harshly rebuked during a recent meeting of board officials in Delhi. The BCCI President was criticized for failing to do the right thing as president, and thus path of him becoming president was blocked.
The biggest faliure of Sourab Ganguly’s career as the BCCI president will also be his fallout with Virat Kohli. For the unversed, after T20 World Cup 2020, Kohli wanted to step down as the T20 captain to shed some burden but continue as the ODI and test skipper.
But as several former cricketers like World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly also believed that split captaincy won’t work in India and hence he asked Kohli to step down as ODI captaincy also. But when Kohli refused to do so, the former skipper was sacked from the captaincy and Rohit Sharma was appointed as the new captain the white ball formats.
There was no proper farewell for Kohli as a captain and neither was he happy of agreeing with the decision. Moreover, removing him from the Indian captaincy over a tweet didn’t go well the fans as well and since then, Sourav Ganguly has been having a tough time as the BCCI president.

But now that his tenure seems to come to an end, tweeple are sharing hilarious memes and posts, celebrating Ganguly’s replacement. Checkout the Twitter reaction here:
Moreover, after such fallout with BCCI, Virat Kohli also stepped down from Test captaincy in January 2022. What seemed more shocking was that Ganguly feared that split captaincy might affect the team badly and hence having two captains would be a shame. But ever since Kohli stepped down from captaincy from all formats and Rohit Sharma became the regular captain, India has had eight captains in several tours.

Play your natural game: Rinku Singh reveals head coach Rahul Dravid’s message before T20Is against South Africa
Rinku, who was instrumental in India’s five-match T20I series victory against Australia, evaluated the South African wickets following India’s first practise session.

India middle-order batter Rinku Singh, believes it will need some more work and repetition to get adjusted to the extra pace and bounce that South African wickets give.
Rinku, who was instrumental in India’s five-match T20I series victory against Australia, evaluated the South African wickets following India’s first practise session here. When he battered here today, there was extra bounce here compared to Indian wickets, Rinku said.
The pace is a bit more, so will practise against pace bowling. Rinku is anticipated to bat at the vital No. 5 or No. 6 spot when India takes on the Proteas in the first of their three T20Is here on Sunday.
He said that Rahul Dravid, the head coach, had also instructed him to bat at No. 5 or No. 6 and simply play his natural game.
The batter said, he really enjoyed the first practice session due of the beautiful weather. It felt fantastic to get the chance to collaborate with Rahul Dravid, sir. Rinku said, he told me to keep playing the way he does and to keep believing in myself.
To continue playing at No. 5 or 6, he encouraged him. Playing that position is difficult, but he must persevere and have confidence in himself, Rahul Dravid said to Rinku Singh.
The Uttar Pradeshi hard-hitter continued by saying that he was confident enough to perform a similar role for India because he has been batting in the two important positions since 2013.
He started playing for UP at No. 5 or 6 in 2013. He has therefore become accustomed to that role. It is quite difficult to play in that position if four or five wickets are down, but he kept pushing himself to play there, Rinku remarked.
The next step is to form a partnership. Rinku said, he keeps telling himself that it’s better for him to remain calm and not react the more.
He went on to say that having fun with teammates is essential to succeeding in cricket. They are still a group of four or five players.he , Avesh (Khan), Jitesh (Sharma), Arshdeep (Singh), and Ravi (Bishnoi).
