Battlegrounds Mobile India: From time limits to parental controls, here’s how BGMI ‘Game Responsibly’ feature works
Krafton has launched an initiative ‘Game Responsibly’ for BGMI users, especially those below 18 years old, which will enable a level of parental control over the much-loved battle royale game.

South Korean developer Krafton has launched Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) exclusively for Indians after the ban of PUBG in India over security reasons. The battle royale game is such an addiction that the gamers usually skip their meals and studies because they get much involved in this game.
In order to promote a healthy game-life balance, Krafton has launched an initiative ‘Game Responsibly’ for BGMI users, especially those below 18 years old, which will enable a level of parental control over the much-loved battle royale game. The ‘Game Responsibly’ feature will allow parents to control their children’s gaming through time limits and OTP confirmation.
Those who are below 18 years of age will be asked to register a parent or guardian before starting playing for the first time. And after that, an OTP will be sent to the registered person’s number, If granted permission, only then the minor will be able to play the game for the next three hours.
With this update, BGMI will have a slew of new features targeted at achieving a healthy game-life balance as well as parental control.

However, with appropriate break-time notifications, the developer has guaranteed that the gamers get the necessary downtime. These reminders will assist them in rising above their game and returning to real life, therefore preserving a good sports-life balance.
Furthermore, players under the age of 18 are not permitted to play for more than 3 hours each day, with stringent playtime limitations. This instantly helps them view gaming as an activity to be done in moderation.

Between October 1 and November 10, Krafton banned 25,19,692 accounts permanently and 7,06,319 temporarily.
