After giving a break of almost two years due to global pandemic Covid-19, this year the government permitted to hold of the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine in Jammu and Kashmir. This year, the 43-day yatra is all set to start on June 30 and it will end on August 11.

To make the yatra more comfortable to the devotees, Jammu and Kashmir’s LG Manoj Sinha to a charge and reviewed the preparations and security arrangements for the upcoming yatra.

LG said, the arrangements have been made for the holy yatra and all the work, which is yet to complete, will be finished in the upcoming days. An official statement also has been released by the Sinha, where it said all the senior officials have been advised to keep a check on all the security arrangements for the devotees such as transport, sanitation, lodging, water, electricity, health, food courts, convenience shops, vending zones among others so that the will not have to face any kind of difficulties this time during Amarnath Yatris.

A high-level meeting also has been organized which have been attended by the temple management committee, civil society members, coordination committee, traders body and all other stakeholders. During the meeting, they said they will assure that every pilgrim is welcomed by the management with an open heart. It said they are all set to provide smooth conduct of the yatra. Other senior officers including BSF, Army, intelligence agencies, and CRPF have been separately briefed the ADGP on the tight security and arrangements.

Seeing the current Covid situation in the country, devotees have been advised to follow all the coronavirus protocols such as social distancing and sanitization of hands.

After the massive success of KGF chapter 2, Tollywood director Prashanth Neel is set to take the Indian cinema by storm with his yet another Pan-India film.

Prashant has finally announced the release date of his upcoming directorial Salaar, which features the Baahubali actor Prabhas in the lead role. The action thriller will also mark the Kannada film debut of Prabhas and the movie is already declared as the most anticipated movie of 2023.

After the massive success of KGF movie series, Prashanth Neel had announced his next with Prabhas and a fresh pair of him and Shruti Hasan will unravel the new world of Salaar. But the fans will have to wait until next year to witness the Prashant Neel madness, as Salaar will release on September 28, 2023.

But the film will clash with Deepika Padukone-Hrithik Roshan starrer fighter. The movie is backed by YRF and is being directed by Sidharth Anand. And it seems like the Bollywood Vs South will take a higher roar on September 28, next year.

What has even more ignited the anticipation for the action-thriller is its latest poster featuring Prabhas. Billed has a high voltage actioner, Salaar has been shot in the India, Europe, Middle -East and Africa.

If reports are to be believed, then Salaar can have a crossover with KFG Chapter 3, just like Marvel movies. Both the films have been directed by Prashanth Neel and are backed by Hombale Films. Moreover, reports suggest that the upcoming film will unravel the story line and open gates for new twists in Yash starrer KGF Chapter 3.

Salaar is a PAN India film, hence it will be release in the five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada (original). Apart from Prabhas and Shruti Hasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy and Easwari Rao will play key roles. The movie has a high budget of 400 crores.

Mukesh Ambani and family receive threat calls, Mumbai Police detains one

A man has been detained in the Dahisar area in the western suburbs of Mumbai. He has been arrested on the grounds of his alleged connection to the threat calls.

Industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family have received three threat calls today on August 15. Reportedly, the calls were made on the number of Reliance Foundation’s Harskisandas Hospital on Monday around 10:30 am.

The complaint was filed at the DB Marg police stations and their team is trying to get more information about the same. However, in the official statement given by the Mumbai Police, “the complaint filed by the Reliance Foundation states that three threat calls were made to Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family and the probe is underway.”

And soon after the complaint was filed, a latest update suggests that a man has been detained in the Dahisar area in the western suburbs of Mumbai. The man has been arrested on the grounds of his alleged connection to the threat calls.

However, this is not for the first time that, Mukesh Ambani and his family have received threat calls. Even last year, a Scorpio car with 20 explosive gelatin sticks along with a threat letter was found outside Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani ‘Antilia’.

Soon after the police were informed, a team of cops including Mumbai’s crime intelligence unit headed by Sachin Vaze, who also took over as the lead investigator of the case, had reached Antilia for investigation.

As per reports, later the case was handed over to NIA after a mysterious death case took over the headlines. The victim was none other than the Thane-based businessman Mansukh Hiren.

For the unversed, Hiren was the owner of the Scorpio car that was found outside Mukesh Ambani’s residence. Earlier, the late businessman had claimed that the car was stolen a week ago.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday took a jibe at the government in her Independence Day wish and said her party will strongly oppose the distortion of history for political gain.

In her message on the occasion of Independence Day, Gandhi said attempts to trivialise the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the glorious achievements made by the country over the last 75 years can never be accepted. The BJP has been trying to malign leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru to further its political propaganda, she said.

Her statement comes a day after a row erupted after BJP dropped Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India, from its Har Ghar Tiranga advertisement in Karnataka.

India has achieved a lot over the last 75 years but what can never be accepted is that the current self-absorbed government is hell-bent on trivialising the great sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the country’s glorious achievements, Gandhi said in her message.

Hitting out at BJP, Gandhi said the Congress will not accept any wrong portrayal of historical facts for political gains nor will it allow any insult to Gandhi-Nehru-Patel-Azad based on falsehoods, she said in her written message.

Wishing the country on the occasion of India’s 76th Independence Day, Gandhi said over the last 75 years, highly talented Indians have led the country on the path of progress in the fields of science, education, health, and information.

Gandhi said India had cemented its image as a glorious nation through its diverse cultures and languages. They also made provisions for a strong democracy and constitutional institutions, she said in her Independence Day message.

Gandhi also said that the visionary leaders of India laid the foundations of a free, fair, and transparent election system.
