Its been almost one month since the Tesla CEO Elon Musk continuously hit the headlines for the Twitter deal. But now, it seems like the billionaire losing interest and wants extra time to think about his choice again. The SpaceX founder released a fresh statement for the same and says he will not take the Twitter deal forward until the company proves that it has less than 5 percent spam accounts on the microblogging platform.

This comes after Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has recently revealed that the platform has at least consists of 20 percent spam accounts. Agrawal on Monday shared a series of tweets where he tried to explain spam accounts and their impact on business. In his tweet, he wrote that the social media platform baned over half a million spam accounts every day before anyone catches them on Twitter. We also lock millions of accounts each week that we suspect may be spam – if they can’t pass human verification challenges (captchas, phone verification, etc), Twitter added in his tweet. He also said that internal estimates of spam accounts on the social media platform for the last four quarters were well under 5%. To this, the world’s richest man replied with a poop emoji.

Assam: Boat carrying nearly 100 people capsizes in Brahmaputra river, several missing, rescue operation underway

A rescue operation is underway for which divers from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have also been deployed.

More than 10 people, including a senior government official, went missing after a boat carrying around 100 passengers capsized in the Brahmaputra River in Assam’s Dhubri district on Thursday.

Locals launched a rescue operation with country boats and claimed that around 100 passengers were travelling on the boat in the Brahmaputra river and 10 motorcycles were loaded onto it.

A country-made boat capsized in the Brahmaputra river in Dhubri district. Search and rescue teams have started the operations, Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, Chief Executive Officer, Assam State Disaster Management Authority said.

A rescue operation is underway for which divers from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have also been deployed. So far, 15 people have been rescued.

Dhubri Circle Officer Sanju Das, along with a land record official and an office staff were also travelling on the boat to survey an erosion-hit area. He remains missing, while the two others managed to swim to safety.

The official informed that the Bhashani-bound boat hit an underwater pillar of the Dhubri-Fulbari bridge, which is under construction and capsized. Several school children were on board and none have been rescued so far, the official also said.

Divers from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have also been deployed, another official at Guwahati said.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday hinted at an inquiry into senior woman IAS officer Harjot Kaur Bumrah’s want condom remarks, two days after social media outrage over her response to a girl’s demand for free sanitary napkins during a seminar in Sashakt Beti, Samriddh Bihar in the state capital Patna.

Responding to a journalist’s query about the National Commission for Women (NCW) notice on Bumrah, Kumar said the orders are in place to inquire into the issue, which he learnt about from newspapers. If the IAS officer’s behaviour is found to be against that spirit, action will be taken against her, Bihar Chief Minister told the reporters.

The officer has issued an apology for her controversial remarks that arose after a video footage of the function held on September 27 went viral on social media. Her remarks triggered a massive social media outrage.

Additional Chief Secretary ranks officer’s remarks came at a state-level workshop organised in collaboration with UNICEF. After the video of the workshop went viral, social media users slammed the IAS for her condom reference to the valid question.

Following the incident, the NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma wrote to Harjot Kaur and asked her to submit her explanation to the woman panel within seven days.

Responding to a girl’s question, which got applauded by the audience, IAS Harjot Kaur Bamhrah, the managing director of Bihar’s Women Development Corporation, said today she asked for sanitary pads and in future, she will also ask the government for free condoms. Why do people need everything for free, she further asked saying this mentality is incorrect. If the government could provide free sanitary pads to girls as it is providing numerous other facilities for free, the girl had asked the Bihar IAS officer.

An unidentified man reportedly tried to break into Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu’s residence at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on Tuesday night. According to the reports, a man tried to enter the residence of Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor, but failed.

Reportedly, a man was trying to enter Mahesh Babu’s house by jumping a 30 foot boundary wall. However, a man couldn’t jump and instead fell on the ground. As soon as the security heard someone’s voice, they reached the spot and found a man lying on the ground screaming in pain as he had suffered injuries while jumping.

The security staff immediately informed the police about the same. The officials rushed to the spot and took him to the Osmania Hospital for treatment.

As per the reports, a man identified as Krishna had come to Hyderabad from Odisha three days ago. He works at a plant nursery. Mahesh Babu was in the house itself at the time of the incident.

However, the police have not yet revealed the reason and intention of Krishna behind this act, but a case has been registered against him. Investigations are underway.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s mother, Indira Devi, passed away on September 28 at the age of 70. The actor’s mother had been suffering from age-related issues for quite some time. The actor’s family informed people about Indira Devi’s death by sharing a statement.

The statement read Smt. Ghattamaneni Indira Devi, wife of veteran actor Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu, passed away a short while ago. She had been suffering from an illness for quite some time now. Her mortal remains will be kept at Padmalaya Studios for fans to visit at 9 am today, and later the last rites will be performed at Maha Prasthanam.

On the professional front, Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for a film with director Trivikram, tentatively titled SSMB28. He also has a big budget project with SS Rajamouli in his kitty.
