Man requests Blinkit to let him deliver roses to his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, CEO replies

A Blinkit user, named Manoj, requested the company on Valentine’s Day to let him deliver roses to his girlfriend’s house because her parents were preventing her from going out on the special day.

CEO of Blinkit Albinder Dhindsa posted a screenshot of the conversation between Manoj and Blinkit support before it split apart on the internet. Dhindsa shared the Blinkit post on X where the man can be seen making the unusual request.

However, company denied the request and said sorry they can’t and added a danger-emoji. After that company’s CEO re-shared the post on X, saying “India is clearly not for beginners.”

The post gained widespread popularity on social media as soon as it was shared. On X, the post has received over 1 lakh views. While some on social media expressed sympathy for the man and asked Blinkit to grant his request, others called it scripted.

Charge fees and let him deliver, a user commented. Another wrote, this could be the new source of revenue for the company.

A third user wrote, it would be a good idea to update your social media marketing plan. Although the writing is strong, a few little tweaks to the chat timing could improve realism. Still, it’s enjoyable, said a fourth user.

Never in my life have I seen such a quick answer on chat help, a fifth user remarked.

Meanwhile, the CEO also shared data where he said that the sales of soft toys on his platform  has increased on Valentine’s Day. Sharing the data he wrote, not sure if it’s Valentine’s today or teddy day!

He added, “we are selling more teddy bears and soft toys as compared to 10th Feburary”.

However, on Rose Day, February 7, Blinkit experienced an incredible spike in the sales of rose.

Rajasthan Royals pulled off Indian Premier League’s biggest run chase to defeat Kolkata Knight Riders by two wickets on Tuesday. KKR were asked to bat first and rode on Sunil Narine’s 56-ball 109 to take their team to a respectable total of 223/6 in 20 overs. In response, RR were in trouble at one stage of the match but Jos Buttler helped the team recover with an unbeaten 60-ball 107, as the visitors completed the run chase in the last delivery of the match.

The England captain began the last over hitting a six off the first ball, he then had to turn down runs off the next 4 balls, thus bringing the equation down to Rajasthan Royals needing 3 runs to win off the last 2 balls. Buttler then hobbled 2 runs off the 2nd last ball of the match and took a single off the last delivery and thus took RR to a record-equalling run chase.

Earlier the Kolkata Knight Riders were asked to bat first on a fresh pitch, Narine blasted a 49-ball 100 to lead KKR’s innings in this match at Eden Gardens. It was a one-man show from KKR as Narine (109 off 56) took his team till the 18th over, forging a 85 run partnership with Angkrish Raghuvanshi (30) and then adding 51 runs along with Andre Russell (13). KKR reached a score of 223/6 in 20 overs batting first.

KKR’s bowling attack could not go unnoticed as the likes of Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine both shone to help keep the home side in the fight, but the effort seemed to be in vain. It was merely a case of who wanted to win more tonight. And Buttler showed that he wanted it the most, as he led Rajasthan Royals to a historic run-chase, the biggest successful run-chase in the history of the IPL.

Vikrant Massey starrer 12th is scheduled to realse in China. Vikrant and Medha Shankr, who played the main lead in the film, are excited and looking forward to it.

During a recent interview, Vikrant said, it is too early to say that if he is going to China or not for film’s promotion. However, he said he is really excited that something like this has happened after a long time, but it is too early to talk about that.

Aamir Khan had earlier visited China to promote his movie Dangal and 3 Idiots, which was likewise quite successful film across the country.

Additionally, Vikrant said that the makers of 12th Fail had been preparing for its distribution in China for some time. He also said that the film will be released in China in more than 20,000 screens.

He said, after several months of development, the news has finally surfaced, and everyone is aware that the film will be released in China. In China, there is a great appetite for Hindi or Indian films. Over 20,000 screens are available for 12th Fail. The quantity of screens is a result of China’s strong entertainment industry, he said.

Meanwhile, last week, 12th Fail also accomplished an incredible feat. It is the first film in 23 years to have shown in theaters for a full 25 weeks. In the Indian film industry, this landmark is referred to as a silver jubilee and denotes remarkable public response and ongoing popularity.
