On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi extended wishes to his fans and shared a fun BTS video of his son Ram Charan with a monkey.

In the video, Ram Charan could be seen getting his makeup done when a monkey climbs up to his balcony and enters the room. The actor then feeds the biscuit to the monkey. Cute. Ain’t it? Ram Charan is currently shooting for his film Acharya.

Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are all set to win the hearts of their fans with their upcoming film Acharya. The trailer of the film was released on April 12 and also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood, and others. Helmed and written by Koratala Siva, Acharya has been produced by Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company.

Acharya is slated to hit the silver screen on April 29.

Ram Charan recently gave a blockbuster film RRR directed by SS Rajamouli. The film is still making sounds and the Hindi version has now crossed the lifetime collections of the 2019 release Uri: The Surgical Strike. RRR is a historical war drama set in the pre-Independence era. The plot of the film is based on the lives of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, respectively. The film was made on a mammoth budget of Rs 450 crore by DVV Danayya.

Meanwhile, Hindus across the country are observing Hanuman Jayanti today. The day commemorates the birthday of Lord Hanuman, the disciple of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Devotees, on this day, keep fast and offer prayer to him. The festival is celebrated with great exuberance across the country.

In other news, Akshay Kumar has jumped on the pan masala bandwagon and is all set to endorse Vimal along with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.

In Welcome, Khan played Balu, a supporting character in the comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and other prominent actors.

Khan’s career also included television work, with his credits spanning a wide range of acting roles over the years.

Mushtaq Khan dies at 56

The actor’s death was reported on September 24, 2026. Reports said Khan had been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with liver cancer and had been hospitalised for around 15 days. Further details surrounding his death were awaited in the initial reports.

Mushtaq Khan was 56. IMDb lists his date of birth as December 31, 1969.

The newborn is the couple’s second daughter. Deepika and Ranveer became parents for the first time in September 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Dua.

The couple has not announced the name of their newborn daughter in the post.

Just a day before the announcement, Deepika Padukone visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple with Ranveer Singh and his parents.
