As social media users turn Delhi metro into a spot for making videos, Instagram reels and photography with each passing day, the DMRC released a strict guideline to control the activity on Tuesday. They have released a new notification, under which it has stated that making videography, dancing videos, photography, and any such activity inside the train that can cause trouble to other passengers is completely prohibited.

While confirming the news, the management also shared a post on Twitter, putting a sarcastic caption in Hindi that reads be the passengers inside the train not a problem to others.

Ever since the post was shared on the internet, it gained a lot of likes and reshares in no time. The decision also left the social media users split. While some are supporting the new rule, on the other hand, some are criticizing the ban. One of the users wrote that first of all, the train management should focus on arranging the seats for the young people as a large crowd always travels while standing and never get seats. We also pay full money for the ticket in the metro, so why don’t we get a seat? User asked. Another one appreciated the new rule and said that it needs to apply with full force as internet influencers think that they own the whole train and makes videos as if nobody is watching them. While the third user asked the DMRC to stop making such useless rules.

Earlier this month, an incident was reported, where a social media influencer was caught making dance reels when the whole train was full of a crowd. When people objected, she started arguing with them. Later, the scene became heated and turned into a fight.

Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor are gearing up to mesmerize audiences with their forthcoming romantic comedy, Abir Gulaal, which is set to hit theaters on May 9. The teaser, recently unveiled, offers a glimpse into the story set against the charming backdrop of London. It narrates the tale of two individuals, each dealing with their own heartbreak, who serendipitously cross paths and embark on a journey of healing, ultimately discovering love in one another.

Khan, who recently returned to the screen with Barzakh, has expressed his sincere appreciation for the support and patience shown by his Indian fans during his time away from the limelight.

Directed by Aarti S. Bagdi, known for her work in Chalti Rahe Zindagi, Abir Gulaal is produced by Indian Stories in collaboration with A Richer Lens and Aarjay Pictures. The film’s production team includes several notable industry figures, such as Vivek B. Agrawal, who has previously worked on acclaimed films like Queen and Udta Punjab, alongside Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy.

The journey of Fawad Khan in the Indian film industry has been marked by various challenges. In 2016, he found himself at the center of a controversy when the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association enforced a ban on Pakistani artists following the Uri attacks. Tensions escalated when the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena threatened to obstruct the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, leading to a public ultimatum for Pakistani artists to leave India.

Despite the tumultuous situation, the film ultimately received a clearance for release from the Central Board of Film Certification. In a recent development in October 2023, the Bombay High Court dismissed a petition that sought to prohibit Pakistani performers in India.

Throughout his career, Khan has also starred in projects such as Khoobsurat (2014) and Kapoor & Sons (2016). He has expanded his portfolio with international roles, including appearances in Ms. Marvel (2022) and The Legend of Maula Jatt (2022), which became Pakistan’s highest-grossing film.

Vaani Kapoor, recognized for her role in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021), is also set to feature in Netflix’s upcoming Mandala Murders and the new Bollywood film Badtameez Gill. Abir Gulaal is poised to make its worldwide debut on May 9, and it promises to be an enchanting cinematic experience.

Ranveer Allahbadia tells Supreme Court he will maintain decency in shows

On March 7, Allahbadia, also a popular YouTuber, was questioned by Guwahati Police regarding the controversy. In his representation, Chandrachud sought a modification of the court’s mandate concerning the retention of Allahbadia’s passport, arguing that it was hindering his professional opportunities.

Ranveer Allahbadia, the podcaster at the center of a significant controversy due to his remarks on the show India’s Got Latent, recently submitted an undertaking to the Supreme Court in which he committed to ensuring that his podcast, The Ranveer Show, adheres to standards of decency. This undertaking was filed by senior advocate Abhinav Chandrachud in response to the court’s earlier directives.

He explained that his work often involves international travel for interviews, which typically require extensive preparation over multiple meetings before recording sessions. The court expressed concerns that allowing Allahbadia to travel could interfere with the current investigation. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who represented the Maharashtra and Assam governments, informed the court that the investigation is expected to be completed within two weeks.

The bench indicated that it would reconsider Allahbadia’s petition for the release of his passport at that time.

This case arose after Allahbadia made a controversial comment about “parents’ sex,” which ignited widespread criticism from members of the BJP and opposition MPs, leading to multiple FIRs being filed against him. He had previously appeared before the Mumbai cyber police in response to the allegations.

The Supreme Court had initially barred Allahbadia from airing any podcast episodes pertaining to his ongoing legal matters and also called for the development of a regulatory framework for social media content. While the court offered him interim protection from arrest in February, it condemned his comments as vulgar and indicative of a “dirty mind.”

On March 3, the court allowed Allahbadia to continue his podcast, The Ranveer Show, but stipulated that he must maintain a standard of “morality and decency” in his content moving forward.
