Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, and the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, are teaming up for their upcoming film, “Loveyapa.” This romantic comedy is set to hit theaters in February 2025.

“Loveyapa” will be the second film for both Junaid and Khushi in their acting careers. The film explores the nuances of contemporary romance, featuring a relatable plot, lively music, and visually captivating scenes. It is slated for release in the week leading up to Valentine’s Day on February 7, 2025.

The initial announcement poster, released on September 17, stated, “Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment announce the theatrical launch of our film about love, likes, and everything in between with Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, directed by Advait Chandan.”

Junaid, who made his acting debut earlier this year in the Netflix film “Maharaj,” shared with the media that he and Khushi share many common traits. He praised her punctuality, saying, “Khushi and I are very much alike; we are both introverts. She is a wonderful person and always on time.”

Directed by Advait Chandan, known for “Laal Singh Chaddha” and “Secret Superstar,” “Loveyapa” is described as a complex love story, produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment.

With a background in theater and behind-the-scenes work, Junaid is stepping into the spotlight with a role that promises to blend humor and romance. Former BCCI chief selector MSK Prasad has harshly criticized Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma following his recent performance and leadership during the ongoing 4th Test match against Australia. Prasad’s comments came during Day 2 of the match, where Rohit, once again, failed to score big, managing only three runs before being dismissed by Australian captain Pat Cummins for the fifth time in his Test career.
