Ranbir Kapoor was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday as part of its probe into the Mahadev online betting app scam, in which four people from Chhattisgarh have been detained. As many as 17 Bollywood celebrities have being investigated in connection with the case, according to reports. Now, Bollywood’s queen Kangana Ranaut has warnned this celebs ahead of investigation.

Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Sonakshi Sinha, Bharti Singh, Hina Khan are among the 17 celebries who have attended the high-profile party. They are being investigated for their involvement in the company’s success celebration in September of last year as well as Chandrakar’s wedding in February of this year.

She accompanied the comment with the laughing and the Indian flag emojis.

The business was promoted by Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, which was run out of Dubai. It is claimed that it was using the online book betting application to sign up new customers, create IDs, and use a complex network of benami bank accounts to launder money.

The Enforcement Directorate’s summons have received a response from Ranbir Kapoor’s team, as per reports. The Mahadev money-laundering case led to the summons of the Bollywood star. According to information obtained, the actor’s management has contacted ED and asked for two weeks to appear before the team. The ED, according to what we have also been told, has not confirmed any communication yet with his team.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.

In Welcome, Khan played Balu, a supporting character in the comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and other prominent actors.

Khan’s career also included television work, with his credits spanning a wide range of acting roles over the years.

Mushtaq Khan dies at 56

The actor’s death was reported on September 24, 2026. Reports said Khan had been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with liver cancer and had been hospitalised for around 15 days. Further details surrounding his death were awaited in the initial reports.

The newborn is the couple’s second daughter. Deepika and Ranveer became parents for the first time in September 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Dua.
