Kulhad Momos? THIS Delhi eatery serves this bizarre dish, watch the viral video here

Ever since the pandemic hit and lockdown happened, people are experimenting with new dishes. Mix matching of dishes has become a trend these days. From Fanta Maggi to Chocolate Biryani, you would have seen some weird food combos.

Recently, a video is shared on Instagram where a Delhi eatery is selling kulhad momos. Yes, you read it right! Kulhad tea is quite popular, but momos in them is a radical idea that the internet finds difficult to grasp. This particular Delhi restaurant provides regular cheesy momos but bakes them in a kulhad, which is basically an earthen tumbler.

This video, posted by food blogger Hardik Malik as an Instagram Reels video, reveals how these momos are prepared before being baked till the cheese bubbles. The person who made the momos started by making a marinade using chopped capsicum, onion, and sweet corn pellets. Then he mixed in two types of sauces, each with a considerable amount of mayonnaise and other ingredients.

Finally, he added the pre-made momos to this mixture and spooned spoonfuls of it into a kulhad before topping it with a pleasing amount of cheese.

According to the food blogger’s caption, the dish is available in East Delhi’s Krishna Nagar for those who want to give it a try. With over 2.5 million views on the video, some Instagram users couldn’t wait to try it. That looks classic!, commented an Instagram user. Yet another supported it by posting, This looks amazing, followed by some heart emojis.

There were, however, a number of people who were unimpressed. What a ridiculous idea, one person said. Har cheez hi kulhad me dal dete hai (why do you put everything in kulhad), while others wondered whether it was a new tendency to put everything in kulhad.

Pushpa 2 makers delete Dammunte Pattukora song amid Allu Arjun’s stampede controversy

Despite the song’s deletion, Pushpa 2 has achieved notable success at the box office, having premiered on December 5 across multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The song “Dammunte Pattukora” from the much-anticipated film Pushpa 2 has recently been removed from social media platforms, sparking significant discussion and controversy online.

Released by T-Series on December 24, 2024, this track was composed by the acclaimed Devi Sri Prasad and features vocals from the film’s lead actor, Allu Arjun. Written by the director Sukumar, “Dammunte Pattukora” quickly became a centerpiece of widespread debate due to its provocative lyrics and the context of an ongoing legal issue involving Allu Arjun.

The song depicts a dramatic confrontation between the protagonist Pushpa, portrayed by Allu Arjun, and his rival, police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil.

The lyrics, particularly lines such as “Dammunte pattukora Shekhawat” (If you have the guts, catch me, Shekhawat!) and “Pattukonte vodilestha syndicate” (If you catch me, I’ll leave the syndicate), emphasize Pushpa’s fearless attitude towards authority, embodying the rebellious essence of his character.

In this number, Pushpa asserts that even if apprehended, he would prefer returning to the forest as a laborer, further highlighting his resolve and pride. While these assertive lines resonate positively with fans who admire Pushpa’s unwavering spirit, they have also ignited substantial controversy.

The bold and defiant nature of the song has contributed significantly to its removal, particularly considering the timing of its release—just weeks after a tragic stampede occurred during the film’s premiere on December 4. This incident resulted in multiple injuries, and Allu Arjun is currently facing scrutiny in connection with it, complicating public perceptions of the song.

Critics argue that the song’s challenging lyrics may come off as insensitive or inflammatory, given the ongoing investigation into the stampede. The rebellious tone could be interpreted as inciting disorder, potentially exacerbating the situation. Conversely, some believe that the backlash against the song is exaggerated and that it merely represents an artistic expression consistent with Pushpa’s character.

The discussions surrounding “Dammunte Pattukora” have led to a heated debate on social media, polarizing opinions among users. Fans of Allu Arjun and the Pushpa franchise have praised the song’s audacious lyrics and its representation of the protagonist’s unyielding spirit. However, others contend that releasing it amid the backlash from the stampede incident was imprudent and could harm the film’s reputation and that of its creators.

Despite the song’s deletion, Pushpa 2 has achieved notable success at the box office, having premiered on December 5 across multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Amidst the rise of digital arrest scams, an individual decided to prank a scammer impersonating a police officer. During a video call, the cybercriminal was unexpectedly greeted by a puppy instead of a victim.

Shared on Instagram, the video features a man responding to a call from someone dressed as a police officer, who claims to be contacting him from the Andheri East police station in Mumbai. When asked to show his face, the man humorously presents his small puppy to the camera, saying, “Yeh lijiye, sir. Aagya main camera ke saamne.”

Realising he’s been pranked, the scammer smiles and attempts to redirect the camera back to himself, saying, “Arey yeh raha main. Arey, thanedaar. Dikhraha hai? Arey nakli vardi,” while laughing. Eventually, he turns off the camera and disconnects the call.

This amusing encounter, shared widely on Instagram, had users in stitches, with one commenting, “Scammer ke saath hi scam kardia,” while another noted, “Indians are pretty talented when it comes to content.”

Many referred to the interaction as “paw patrol,” with one user cleverly stating, “Pawlice hai woh police nahi.” The lighthearted prank was so charming that even the scammer couldn’t conceal his smile, earning him the title of “pookie scammer.”

Digital arrest scams involve fraudsters impersonating law enforcement officials like CBI agents or customs officers, initiating contact through phone calls. They coax victims into switching to video calls on platforms such as WhatsApp or Skype, claiming to have a digital arrest warrant for alleged financial misconduct or legal violations.

To enhance the ruse, they may use fake police station backdrops. These scammers pretend to assist victims in clearing their names while pressuring them to transfer large sums of money to specific accounts or UPI IDs, disappearing with the funds and leaving victims vulnerable to financial loss and identity theft.
