Andhra Pradesh man tricked by in-laws to marry transgender, files complaint

A man has filed a complaint against his wife and her family members for cheating and hiding the truth about his wife’s sexuality. The man alleged that he was tricked by his in-laws into marrying a transgender person. The incident happened in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada.

According to the reports, the man got married in 2019 but his wife was not able to conceive. So, he took her to the hospital for a check-up, only to find out she was transgender.

A man, a resident of Old Guntur, took his wife to a hospital on Tuesday for a check-up as the couple was not able to have children even after two years of marriage. After examining the woman, the doctor told him that she was a transgender who underwent a sex change operation when she was 12 years of age. After two years of marriage, the man came to know that he had married a transgender woman.

The victim works as a graphic designer and got married in 2019 in the presence of both families. He said that before the wedding, the woman’s parents told him that they had property worth crores and he would inherit it in the future.

He filed a complaint at a police station stating that he was deceived and misled by the woman and her family.

A similar incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, where he alleged that he was tricked by his in-laws into marrying a transgender. The man said that the mediator added to the lies told by his future in-laws that caused him to marry a transgender person.

When the couple attempted to consummate their marriage, the complainant discovered that his wife was transgender. The husband asserted that his wife was unable to have physical intercourse with him because her genitalia was not completely formed. Then he took her to a hospital for a medical examination where he found out that she was transgender.

Ever since the arrest of Aaftab Amin Poonawala in Delhi last month for allegedly killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and chopping her body into 35 parts, several similar cases have been reported from across the country. In a recent incident, several body parts of a woman were found in a drum kept in a locked rented house in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam. Police suspect that the body was lying there for more than a year. The body parts of the woman were found when the owner of the house broke open the door when the tenant did not pay the rent.

Visakhapatnam City Police Commissioner Srikanth said that the above case came to light from Maduravada in Visakhapatnam today when the landlord forcefully entered the house to remove the belongings of the absconding tenant. In June 2021, the tenant vacated the house without paying the dues citing his wife’s pregnancy. But he is said to have returned once more in the home through the back door, but had not yet paid the owner

After waiting for more than a year, the owner today forcefully entered the house to remove the tenant’s belongings. Parts of a drum containing the body of a woman have been recovered.

Police said preliminary evidence suggests that the body, which has now been discovered, was cut into pieces a year ago. Srikanth said we suspect it could be his wife. The (house) owner has given a complaint, on the basis of which the case has been registered.

The City Police Commissioner has said that they are suspecting it was his wife, a case has been registered and a probe into the matter has been initiated.

The spine chilling incident of a woman named Shraddha Walkar, murdered and chopped into 35 pieces, made the national headlines after her father lodged a missing person complaint.

The police are ever since involved in the investigation of the matter as the accused is in judicial custody.

A heart-wrenching video has gone viral on social media in which a woman is seen delivering a baby on road in front of a maternity hospital after the hospital denied admitting her. The incident is from Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati.

According to the reports, the pregnant woman reached the 100-bed Tirupati Maternity Hospital after she suffered labour pain. However, the hospital staff allegedly denied her admission because no one was accompanying her. The woman was then forced to deliver the baby on the road.

The woman began having intense labour pain and started screaming in pain as soon as she came out of the hospital. The people who were nearby immediately rushed for help.

The woman delivered the baby with the help of a man who was primarily a health center worker. Other women were seen covering the pregnant woman by holding a bedsheet. The woman and the baby were then admitted to the hospital.

Additionally, Srihari stressed that pregnant women would not be denied entry to the hospital even if there isn’t any attendant.

K Venkataramana Reddy, the district collector of Tirupati, summoned DMHO Srihari as well. Additionally, he has given DMHO instructions to file a report on the baby’s delivery on the road in front of the maternity hospital. She also called it a terrible incident and urged for a detailed investigation.

The hospital authorities said they were unaware of her pregnancy as she never consulted the doctors at the hospital. Meanwhile, Srihari, the district health official for Tirupati, order a probe into the matter. He also said that strict action will be taken against those who were found guilty.

Andhra Pradesh: 45 monkeys found dead in Srikakulam

A suspected case of mass poising has come to light from Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam forest area. Around 45 monkeys were found dead near Silagaam village of Kaviti Mandal of Srikakulam on Wednesday.

Reports said that a few monkeys were also found lying unconscious in the forest. The forest officials have sent carcasses for the postmortem and an investigation was on in this matter. The incident has caused anger among locals.

Kasibuga Forest Officer Murli Krishan said that they had never seen such an incident in the district. Somebody brought the monkeys in a tractor and left them near the village forest area. Around 40 to 45 monkeys were found dead in this incident.

He further said that a postmortem of these monkeys was conducted. Reports would come in five days. A case has been filed under the Animal Act. They were investigating the matter and the culprits would be nabbed soon.

According to the villagers, Silgam has no monkeys and that the presence of monkeys were found near Mandasa, which was around 30 kilometers from the village.

Another incident of grey pelicans deaths were reported from Srikakulam district in January 2022. Reports said that 130 grey pelicans died in Telineelapuram village of the Tekkali mandal. The cause of the death was nematode (roundworm) infection among the birds.

A forest official said that they took the bird sample to the Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab (ADDL) in Srikakulam city for a postmortem to know the cause of death. Preliminary findings showed that it was parasitic infection. He further said that the birds feed from the aquaculture pond and when they took a fish sample to the ADDL, the same parasite was found in it too.
