Amid Pathaan Boycott trend which was catapulted by the right wing outfit, another video came to light where a seer can be seen bragging about how he burn the effigy of Actor Shah Rukh Khan and then going on to threaten the actor that if he finds him in real life, he will burn the actor alive. The video has stirred up Twitter as many came forward to call for action against the seer.

After the video of the seer went viral, the Shah Rukh Khan and Pathaan fan army joined hands to call for action against the seer who was seen giving life threats to the star Actor. The open threat by the seer is just another instalment to various other boycott calls by various right wing outfits who started the trend of boycott after the Pathaan’s Besharam Rang was released.

After the video of the seer came to light, many twitter users came forward urging for an action to be taken against the seer. A user came forward and wrote that the seer has threatened a person who has made India proud on many occasions, and further said the seer should be arrested and the charges of sedition should be invoked.

Another user urged the Uttar Pradesh Police to take strict action against such type of anti-national people who are spoiling and polarising the climate of the country and culture. Another user added to the conversation as he highlighted and said that the seer is openly giving out threats, implying how the seer is unabashed by the consequences of giving out such threats.

Even Filmmaker Onir also added his take on the incident as he questioned why he has not been arrested yet. He further added that it is strange to see the absolute lack of accountability for hate speech and the lawmakers turning a blind eye while a student activist is jailed for years. The Filmmaker further termed the incident to be tragic.

A brutal world built around revenge and espionage

Set around the IC-814 Kandahar hijack and the 2001 Parliament attack, Dhurandhar opens with Ajay Sanyal, an Intelligence Bureau officer played by R Madhavan, who strongly opposes releasing captured terrorists. Despite his resistance, bureaucracy prevails, setting the stage for the covert mission he later leads.

The project introduces its central weapon — Humza Ali Mazari, later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangil — portrayed by Ranveer Singh with ferocity and emotional depth. Dropped straight into Karachi’s dangerous Lyari district, Humza navigates a nexus of gangs, politicians, and the ISI, with the narrative also touching upon tensions between local Pakistanis and Baloch communities.

Akshaye Khanna nearly steals the spotlight as a feared Lyari gangster inspired by Rehman ‘Dakait’ Baloch. Sanjay Dutt’s portrayal of SP Chaudhry Aslam brings an intimidating presence, while Arjun Rampal’s Major Iqbal leaves a lingering impact despite limited screen time.

Sara Arjun plays Yalina with conviction, and the film also features an unrecognisable Gaurav Gera in a surprise appearance.
