A number of actors, like Sonu Sood and Radhika Apte, have spoken out about their experiences with the widespread flight delays. Richa Chadha has now revealed that she had long delays on some of her recent flights.

The actor took to X on Wednesday to share her story of taking three flights in three days, including two of her domestic Indigo flight delay for four-hour delays.

While acknowledging that the recent air show in Mumbai and the fog in Delhi might have contributed to Indigo’s challenges, Richa Chadha also pointed the finger at lack of accountability for the chaos.

Chadha wrote, on her 3rd flight in 3 days… day 1, IndiGo6E delayed by over 4 hours, she wrote in her post. Day 2: @IndiGo6E was four hours late. On some itineraries, however, Indigo frequently offers the only direct flights. Day 3: No issues with the international flight.

Due to an air show in Mumbai on January 14, the runway was closed early in the morning. Then came fog and pollution in North India, closing the runway in Delhi. Effect of ripples? nationwide flight delays and overworked workers

In addition, Richa wrote, she was surprised only one person got physically assaulted because tempers were running very high (I don’t condone violence). In response to the recent video that showed a passenger physically attacking an Indigo pilot. Lesson: Lack of accountability results from monopolies, whether they be in the ownership of airports, airlines, or leadership.

She further added, ordinary people suffer and have no way to get help. We will be paying through our noses and will be at a disadvantage until we acknowledge it. And we deserve it, haina, if we don’t wake up, right?

For the unversed, Fukrey 3 actor was alluding to the widely shared video of a passenger physically attacking a pilot due to a flight delay. The captain of the aeroplane was seen in the video delivering the flight status to the passengers when a male passenger wearing a yellow sweatshirt started attacking him. The incident happened on Sunday on a Delhi to Goa flight that was delayed by several hours because of fog.
