Many devotees offered Araghya to the rising sun as toxic foam floated on the banks of polluted Yamuna river in New Delhi during the Chhath Puja on Monday. Videos and pictures being shared on social media showed large amounts of toxic foam floating in the polluted Yamuna river, as devotees stood in it.

According to reports the toxic foam is due to the presence of high phosphate content in the river. This polluted foam can also cause respiratory and skin problems. Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party has made many promises to the people of Delhi to clean up the Yamuna river. But the situation has become bad to worse.The video has gone viral with more than 55,500 views

Atishi told the media that food grade chemicals and enzymes are being sprinkled by 10 boats last night. She assured that the toxic foam will vanish in the next two days. She appealed to the Uttar Pradesh government to not send polluted water to New Delhi.

Aam Aadmi Party MLA and vice chairman of Delhi Jal Board Somnath Bharti made an inspection of the Kalindi Kunj Ghat. He said the foam is harmless. The four day Chhath Puja celebrations started taking place on Friday. This festival is regarded as the festival of faith, goodwill and purity. As part of the Chhath puja celebrations devotees worship the setting and the rising sun.

The first day of the Chhath Puja celebrations start with Nahaye Khaaye. And on the second day Lohanda and Kharna is observed. On the third day of the festival the devotees offer Sandhya Arghya to the setting sun. On the last day, Usha Araghya is offered to the rising sun. The festival is celebrated in states like Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhanda and Uttar Pradesh.

2018 saw the release of Kedarnath, which introduced actor Sara Ali Khan to the glamorous world of Bollywood. Surprisingly, on December 7, the film, in which Sushant Singh Rajput also starred, celebrates its fifth anniversary of release.

Sara seemed to have been thrilled about the occasion because she wrote a long statement and included a reel of BTS (Behind the scenes) photos from the film’s shooting. In her lengthy post, the actor talked about how she got started in the business five years ago and reminisced about working on the project with fellow actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Khan posted a clip of BTS shots from the making of her debut film on Instagram today afternoon when she was in Kedarnath. She also wrote a long statement in which she described working with her co-actor Sushant Singh Rajput and how he patiently supported her when she was first starting out in the business.

Sharaing the video Sara said, her inquisitive and enthusiastic queries to Sushant regarding how she can improve, his selfless and unwavering assistance & backing, delving deeper into Kedarnath’s past by remembering how the movie first presented her five years prior. She also expressed her gratitude to director Abhishek Kapoor for presenting her with the idea.

Five years ago, Sara Ali Khan made her cinematic debut. And she would gladly live every second of this movie over again on any given day. The actor also said she is grateful because Gattu Kapoor and Kanika Dhillon gave her Mukku. Salutations to Bholenath. She is grateful to Kedarnath for making her what she is today. 7.12.2018 April mein aati hoon, she added.

Fans rushed to her post’s comment area, expressing a plethora of comments, while she wrote a lengthy statement recalling the days of the film’s production. Some praised the Sara-Sushant duo, while others referred to her first project as extra special.

Mohammed Shami nominated for ICC player of month for November

Along with Australia’s batting prodigy Travis Head and all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, India’s Mohammed Shami, who finished the recently concluded ICC World Cup as the tournament’s top wicket-taker, has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month Award for November 2023.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) released a statement saying, two ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 champions and an Indian fast-bowling veteran have made the shortlist for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month Award for November 2023.

November saw Shami continuing on his incredible World Cup performance. At an economy rate of 5.68 and an average of 12.06, he claimed 15 wickets. With 24 wickets from just seven innings, he emerged as the 2023 Cricket World Cup’s top wicket-taker overall. One of his best performances this month was a breathtaking 5/18 at Wankhede versus Sri Lanka. When Shami came at the conclusion of the first Powerplay, Sri Lanka was already struggling in a 358-run chase. He batted through their middle and lower order in his five overs.

At Eden Gardens, a concentrated 2/18 led to South Africa’s destruction. But against New Zealand in the semi-final, the quick bowler was outstanding.

After an extended injury absence from work, Australia’s batting sensation Head made his comeback to the team at the end of October with a magnificent century against New Zealand. He carried on his strong form into November.

He amassed 220 runs at an incredible average of 44 in five One-Day Internationals in November, including a half-century and a century. His performances in the semi-final and final of the Cricket World Cup were noteworthy; he was voted Player of the Match and was instrumental in Australia’s sixth title.

In contrast, in his three ODI matches last month, Australia’s top all-around player Maxwell amassed 204 runs at an average of 204 and a strike rate of 152.23. He also claimed two wickets. After much waiting, Kiara Advani finally revealed all the facts of her actor husband Sidharth Malhotra’s romantic proposal on Koffee With Karan (KWK) season 8 episode 7. She and Vicky Kaushal, her co-star in Govinda Naam Mera, talked about their individual love lives while sharing the KWK couch.

Speaking of Sidharth’s proposal, Kiara disclosed that he asked her to marry him using a passage from their 2021 movie Shershaah.

Kiara Advani revealed to have sensed that Sidharth was going to propose the question while she was visiting Rome with his family. She claimed that before he proposed to her, she had asked for her parents’ approval.

The couple’s dreamy royal wedding took place at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace, and it was followed by receptions in Mumbai and Delhi. Manish Malhotra, Juhi Chawla, Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput, and other chosen guests attended the closely guarded wedding.
