As we already know, the 14th of November is observed as Children’s Day in India. It is regarded as a special day in India as it commemorates the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, affectionately known as Chacha Nehru. This year marks his 132nd birth anniversary.
Earlier, in India Children’s Day was celebrated on 20th November (the date observed as Universal Children’s Day by the United Nations) but after his demise, the Indian Parliament passed a resolution that Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth date will now be celebrated as Children’s Day because he was fond of children. The significance of this day is to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children.

Children’s Day is the most auspicious day in the life of every child. In India, Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He loved children dearly and is fondly remembered as Chacha Nehru by them. After his death in 1964, his birthday was declared as Children’s Day nationwide.
Pandit Nehru was very fond of kids and advocated children’s education as he strongly believed that they were the future leaders of the nation. In his post Alakh Pandey wrote that he was invited to speak at Harvard University, Stanford University, and University Of California. He said that he motivated the Indian students studying in these premier institutions to return to India to contribute to the country’s growth and development.
Alakh Pandey, also known as Physics Wallah, took to his Instagram handle and shared a post on being invited to prestigious foreign universities as a speaker. In his post, he shared how he asked the Indian students studying in the premier institutions – Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University Of California – to return to their homeland. He urged those Indian students who cannot return should directly or indirectly contribute to India’s progress.
Physics Wallah wrote his caption in Hindi and shared a number of pictures showing him standing at different places. In his post, he wrote that he was invited to speak at Harvard University, Stanford University, and University Of California. Pandey said that he motivated the Indian students studying in these premier institutions to return to India to contribute to the country’s growth and development.
He said he knew that his country has many flaws. But, the youth should work towards making it better. The post was shared 21 hours ago and has gone viral with 306,512 likes till now which are only increasing. Large number of Instagram users and students commented on the viral post. One user Himanshu kumar shared the post and wrote heart emojis. One user Ayush Pandit ji wrote Jai Hind. One user Raunak asked if they should bow down in front of him. Nilkrishna likes watching movies and said they are a great source of enjoyment and relaxation.
He likes to watch a movie after exams and occasionally treats himself to one each week too. Gajare aims to keep up the pace for the JEE-Advanced exam and hopes to get into the IITs. He said he wants to secure admission in IIT-Bombay in the computer science branch.

Anand Kumar, mathematician and founder of Super 30 had an unexpected meeting with one of his ex-students while shopping in a mall in New Jersey, USA. Kumar took to X and posted that his heartwarming encounter with Sandeep Chaudhary and said his meeting was nothing short of a filmy scene.
Anand Kumar shared a picture with Sandeep Chaudhary in a heartfelt post and wrote that many such incidents have happened in his life that seem like something from a film. He said he had come to buy some stuff for his children in a mall in New Jersey, USA. He was pleasantly surprised when he was called from behind. Anand Sir, you are here in America? The man introduced himself as Sandeep Chaudhary, his ex-student. Chaudhary came forward and touched Anand’s feet. Chaudhary also insisted on letting him pay for the stuff Anand had bought at the mall.
Sandeep Chaudhary thanked Anand Kumar for his blessings and said Today, it is because of Anand’s blessings that he had reached here. Chaudhary also dropped him off in his car at the place where Anand had been staying. Anand Kumar wrote in his post that there cannot be a more proud moment for a teacher like him than this.
