Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 adventure motorcycle spotted during testing in Europe.

Royal Enfield is gearing up for the launch of its much-anticipated flagship adventure motorcycle, the Himalayan 750. Recently spied undergoing testing in Europe, the bike appears to be in its developmental stages, with an official launch likely slated for 2026.

The Himalayan 750 is set to redefine Royal Enfield’s adventure-touring lineup, presenting a robust middleweight ADV that draws inspiration from models like the Husqvarna Norden 901. While heavily camouflaged during testing, the motorcycle’s design reveals a tall stance typical of ADVs, complete with a round LED headlight, a short windscreen, and quarter fairings—marking a first for Royal Enfield in this segment.

Design and features

The profile of the Himalayan 750 closely resembles its smaller sibling, the Himalayan 450. It boasts a split-seat design, an upswept two-in-one exhaust, and LED indicators doubling as taillights. The motorcycle’s ergonomics suggest a rider-friendly upright position suitable for long-distance touring.

A standout addition is the aluminum bash plate, signaling the bike’s rugged intentions. The spied test mule features a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, leaning towards road-oriented touring capabilities. However, the possibility of off-road variants with a 21-inch front wheel remains uncertain.

Powertrain and performance

At the heart of the Himalayan 750 is a new 750 cc parallel-twin engine, potentially liquid-cooled, and distinct from Royal Enfield’s existing 650 cc platform. Although performance figures remain under wraps, the engine is expected to deliver a significant boost over the 650’s 47 hp and 52 Nm output. A 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch is anticipated, ensuring smoother gear transitions for touring enthusiasts.

Suspension and braking

The bike features an all-new frame, chassis, and swingarm. It includes twin front disc brakes, a single rear disc, and adjustable USD front forks complemented by a monoshock at the rear. Suspension travel is expected to hover around 200 mm, balancing on-road comfort and light off-road capability.

Tech-savvy flagship

Royal Enfield seems poised to equip the Himalayan 750 with advanced features, including full LED lighting, switchable ABS, traction control, and a rectangular digital display. Speculations suggest the possibility of riding modes, further enhancing its touring credentials.

Competing in a growing market

Once launched, the Himalayan 750 will occupy the flagship position in Royal Enfield’s adventure lineup. It aims to rival models like the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 and the anticipated BMW F 450 GS, both prominent contenders in the mid-range ADV market.

With the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield seeks to strengthen its hold in the growing adventure-touring segment, offering a blend of performance, features, and affordability. Fans and industry watchers eagerly await more details as the bike progresses closer to production.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with car crash detection feature

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on January 22. Ahead of its release, a new report has emerged suggesting that the flagship model, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, may include a car crash detection feature similar to those offered by Apple and Google. This feature is said to function via a virtual composite sensor integrated into the device, providing a new layer of safety for users.

Crash Detection Technology on the Galaxy S25 Ultra

According to a report from Android Authority, several leaked files have hinted at the inclusion of a car crash detection feature in the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra. The feature, reportedly powered by a composite sensor, would analyze and combine data from various sensors, including an accelerometer and GPS, to detect if the user has been involved in a car crash. While this feature is not yet active in the current One UI builds, references to it have been found as early as One UI 5.1.1, suggesting that it may be in the works for future updates.

Interestingly, similar references to the crash detection feature have been spotted in other Samsung devices, including the Galaxy S24 series and the company’s latest foldable smartphones. A hidden app system called MoccaMobile is believed to be part of the OS, containing code for activating and deactivating the virtual sensor, though it currently lacks a user interface (UI).

Rivals already offering Crash Detection

Samsung’s move to incorporate crash detection into its flagship device comes as no surprise, given that rivals Apple and Google have already introduced similar features in their smartphones. Apple first debuted crash detection with the iPhone 14 series in 2022, utilizing a dual-core accelerometer and high dynamic range gyroscope to identify crashes and alert emergency services. Google’s Pixel smartphones also offer a crash detection feature, powered by AI-driven Activity Recognition. This system uses data from the Pixel’s accelerometer, GPS, and microphone, comparing it against real-world and simulated crash scenarios to detect accidents and call for help when necessary.

With the Galaxy S25 Ultra potentially joining the ranks of smartphones equipped with car crash detection, Samsung could be adding another significant safety feature to its already impressive lineup of innovations. While the feature is not yet fully operational, it signals the company’s intention to provide enhanced security for its users. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to become available for pre-order on February 4, 2025, following its official launch on January 22.

A renowned tipster, Evan Blass, has provided enthusiasts with an early look at the design and colour choices of the Samsung Galaxy M35, ahead of its highly anticipated debut in the Indian market. The smartphone is set to arrive in three distinct colour variations – grey, light blue, and dark blue, which show striking similarities with the Galaxy A35, suggesting a possible rebranding strategy by Samsung.

The leaked image showcases the Galaxy M35 with a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup, positioned at the top left corner alongside an LED flash integrated into what appears to be a plastic back. The Galaxy M35 introduces a sleeker and more modern look with a hole punch selfie camera cutout, departing from the water drop style notch seen on its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy M35 is expected to boast a substantial 6000mAh battery capacity, surpassing its counterpart, the Galaxy A35, which contains 5000mAh. This enhancement in battery power indicates Samsung’s commitment to delivering extended usage durations for its consumers.

Moreover, specific specifications are yet to be confirmed by Samsung, but reports suggest that the Galaxy M35 could feature a 6.6-inch display and run on an Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 6 GB of RAM, ensuring seamless performance for users across various tasks and applications.

Despite bearing a resemblance to the Galaxy A35, the leaked image also highlights subtle differences between the two models, notably in the design of the volume and power buttons, as well as the location of the SIM tray. Such nuances indicate the potential distinction in user experience and functionality between the two devices.

As excitement grows for the upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy M35, fans and tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for more information from the company about the phone’s specifications, price, and when it will be available. Stay tuned for more updates in the days or weeks leading up to the official unveiling of the Galaxy M35.
