The Mahadev betting app’s promoter Sourabh Chandrakar got married in the month of February 2023, in the United Arab Emirates. Several stars from the industry including Vishal Dadlani and Sunny Leone attended his wedding.
The ED has revealed the names of the celebrities and singers who went to perform for the scam accused. The list includes actors such as Tiger Shroff, Elli AvrRam, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone, Bhagyashree, Kriti Kharbanda, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Krushna Abhishek. And singers such as Neha Kakkar, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Asgar, and Vishal Dadlani were also present.
All these celebrities could be seen in the video released from Sourabh Chandrakar’s wedding.
According to reports, the singers and actors who went to attend the ceremony in return for a fee paid to them by the Mumbai-based event company.
It has been revealed that the family members were given a private jet to travel from Nagpur to UAE. The other promoters of the App reportedly spent crores of money on the scam accused’s wedding.
The ED found in their investigation that Rs 112 crore was delivered through hawala to an event management company. The authority also revealed that the other expenses like hotel bookings payment were made in cash.
According to reports, the ED in their raids, at the offices of eight cash counters, found assets worth Rs 417 crore in connection with the Mahadev online betting scam case. The assets were seized by the Enforcement Directorate officials.
According to ED, the company promoted by Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal was allegedly using the online book betting application to enrol new users and was operating the company from Dubai. They used to create user IDs and launder money via a layered web of benami Bank accounts, the ED said.

According to reports, the actor slipped while he was working in the kitchen and got injured. He was taken to hospital where he lost his life.
The 67-year-old actor is survived by his wife Suzanne Bernert, also an actor. The incident took place in Hyderabad, Telangana where he was shooting for an upcoming project.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee had extended his condolence on the death of veteran actor Akhil Mishra. He said the incident was unbelievably shocking.
Akhil was married to a German actor Suzanne Bernert in February 2009. Later in 2011, they got married as per the traditional rituals.
Akhil has worked in several movies like Gandhi, My Father, Don, Shikhar, Kamla Ki Maut, and Well Done Abba. He got his popularity as a librarian Dubey in 3 Idiots movie, starring Amir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, and Omi Vaidya among others.
The veteran actor was also seen in famous TV shows like CID, Udaan, Hatim and Uttaran among others.
Suzanne Bernert has also worked in several Television shows such as Porus, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Savdhaan India, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Earlier, Akhil Mishra and his wife Suzanne worked together in the movie Kram. They have worked in TV Shows together like Dewaana, a Doordarshan serial.
They worked in a short film named Manju Ki Juliet as well in 2019.
His last rites were held on September 21 at 3:30 pm at Indralok near Golden Nest. Suzanne had made all the arrangements and preparations for the cremation. She said that her heart was broken and her second half had gone forever.
