Yashoda Teaser: Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays pregnant women fighting, running, weighting in survival thriller | Watch

Samantha Ruth Prabhu who is basking in glory after the super success of Vijay Sethupathi-Nayanthara starrer Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, is back with her multilingual action thriller titled Yashoda.
Samantha is playing a pregnant women in the film, who is fighting for her survival. The creators of the film should be credited for giving it all without actually telling you anything. The makers have not yet revealed the release date of Yashoda but originally shot in Telugu, the movie will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

The teaser released by the makers of Yashoda opens with Samantha in a clinic where she’s informed by the doctor that she’s expecting. However, things turn intriguing when the doctor asks her to take care and she cries in the next scene. Later doctor asks her to no lift heavy things and she lifts weight, next doctors prescribes to walk slow and she running after being chased by a dog.
Now the viewers know that it’s a survival thriller for Samantha but they are left with several questions that why is she running, why is she not safe, who’s after her and why is a pregnant women going through such troubles. And, that’s exactly what a filmmaker wants. One intends to leave a impression on viewers minds, and the makers of Yashoda have successfully done so.
Tweeple also seemed to be impressed by the Yashoda Teaser released today in Hindi and Telugu. A twitter user shared the trailer on Twitter and wriote that he can’t wait for the film to release. Another user expressed her exictement over wtinsessing Samantha again on the big screen.
The film is directed by Hari and Harish and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. Yashoda is backed by Sridevi Movies and is set to release this year. Apart from Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles, the film also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Unni Mukundan, Murali Sharma, Shatru, Sampath Raj, Shatru and Madhurima.

Swades actor Gayatri Joshi, her husband meet with car accident in Italy, 2 killed; social media prays for couple’s well-being
A Ferrari carrying a Swiss couple was involved in a multiple-car crash in Sardinia, which resulted in their deaths when their luxurious car caught fire.
Shah Rukh Khan’s co-star in Swades Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi reportedly were involved in a fatal car accident that claimed the lives of an elderly couple. The terrible incident happened in Italy. Gayatri said, that she and her husband were absolutely fine and that she had confirmed the accident’s news.
A Ferrari carrying a Swiss couple was involved in a multiple-car crash in Sardinia, which resulted in their deaths when their luxurious car caught fire.
As soon as the news of Gayatri’s accident came out, netizens took to social media and prayed for couple’s well-being. A user wrote, hope that the actor is doping good. Another wrote, praying for the good health of Gayatri and her husband. Others also posted the news on their social media handles.
According to the report, the collision occurred when several fast cars, including a Lamborghini and a Ferrari, attempted to pass the camper van at the same time. The following caused the Ferrari to catch fire tragically, killing the elderly Swiss couple inside, Melissa Krautli, 63, and Markus Krautli, 67.
Gayatri won the Femina Miss India International title in 2000, and Ashutosh Gowariker’s Swades marked her acting debut. She played Geeta in the critically acclaimed film with Shah Rukh Khan. Despite receiving praise for her work in the film she left Bollywood unexpectedly, Gayatri. She married businessman Vikas Oberoi in 2005, and the two of them have two children together.
Gayatri has been out of Bollywood for a while, yet she still visits Mumbai. She and Vikas were seen out for lunch in the city the year before with Sonali Bendre and her husband Goldie Behl, Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and others.
The former gained attention in 2019 after suffering a loss of Rs 40,000 due to credit card fraud. It appears to be an instance of card cloning at first glance. According to the complainant, someone stole the information from her card and later replicated it to make cash withdrawals, a police officer said.

CAIT files case against Amitabh Bachchan for misleading Flipkart ad, seeks fine of Rs 10 lakh on actor

The trade association CAIT has complained to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs about a Flipkart commercial for the upcoming Big Billion Days sale that features Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, calling the advertisement misleading.
In its complaint to the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) referred to the commercial as misleading and disparaging of the nation’s small shopkeepers. According to a statement, it has also asked for the advertisement to be taken down.
The CAIT recommended that Flipkart be penalised for false or misleading advertisement in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act and that Bachchan be fined Rs. 10 lakh.
Flipkart did not respond to an email that was sent to them. For remarks, Bachchan could not be reached.
According to Section 2(47), Flipkart has misled the public regarding the price at which mobile phones are being made available by sellers/suppliers in the smartphone market of India, doing business through Amitabh Bachchan (endorser).
This has the effect of disparaging the goods, services, or trade of another person, CAIT Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal wrote in the complaint.
Further, he stated that the advertisement by Flipkart is misleading because it doesn’t contain truthful and honest representation and is wholly incorrect, malicious, misleading, and manipulative in accordance with Rule 4 of the Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements and Endorsements for Misleading Advertisements, 2022.
Sumit Agarwal, CAIT India’s National Secretary and Youth Convenor, tweeted about the situation.
The advertisement featuring Bachchan touting Flipkart’s impending Big Billion Day sale and informing customers that bargains on mobiles won’t be available offline at retail stores was criticised last week by CAIT.
The Big Billion Days sale which is scheduled to start from October 8, midnight, and will end on October 15, midnight, on Flipkart.

With Koffee With Karan season 8, Karan Johar is finally going to return, and his new video makes it very clear that the director and host has taken all the troll and nasty comments into account while dropping the teaser.
In the Koffee With Karan (KWK) promo video, Karan is seen quietly enjoying his coffee while wearing a pink hoodie. Suddenly, his conscience walks up and questions him about the chat show, which is scheduled to return on October 26.
In the teaser, a pink-clad Karan Johar meets his conscience, but it’s a K — Kconscience — who informs him how thanda (cold) and meh (boring) last season was during the discussions. The actual Karan (in pink), who appears confused, queries Kconscience about whether someone has spiked his coffee. Kconscience responds that it may have been perspective this time.
Kconscience continues to make fun of Karan by saying that he should have nicknamed his show Cold Koffee With Karan and by posing the question, Were those cheese jokes with your nepo babies supposed to be funny? Kconscience continues to berate Karan, telling him that all of the instances were essentially the same and that it was extremely lame for a 50-year-old to inquire about the sex lives of 20-year-olds. Kconsicence enquires him, is it because he don’t have a private sex life of his own?
When Karan admits that he could have done a little better, Kconscience explains that he was too busy promoting his Lenskart and other brands while also selling chashmas (spectacles) and hair dyes. A freshly groomed Karan stands up and exclaims with joy that he will now welcome the newest married pair as well as cricket players—but not star children, but star grandchildren.
Karan posted the promo and wrote, turns out, his own Konscience wants to prank me too! But who cares what he thinks—Season 8 is still in the works! He further reveled the release date of his talk show that it will start from October 26 on Dinsney Plus Hotstar.
