Solar System Requirement for Small Scale Businesses

Published

on

Solar System

With the rapid growing business, the usage of solar system in the MSME industry is becoming more popular every-day. The proper usage of a solar system can majorly benefit any small-scale industry. Some small-scale industries like Mushroom farming, poultry farming, fish farming, etc, requires power to function.

Need of Solar System and Kilo Watt Usage

The requirement of a solar system for any MSME industry is essential but the type of solar system required for these remote industries is an ‘Off-Grid’ solar system. An off-grid solar system can produce power in the day time and can run the electronics through-out the day and night. The ‘Kilo-Watt’ capacity for any solar system is decided by the type of the industry and the electrical components being used in that industry. These remote sites are usually 20 to 30 kilo meters away from the main city and these sites face many power outages.

For example: a ‘Mushroom Farming Industry’ will require a minimum of 1 kW off-grid solar system to generate and provide the required power supply. The industry requires lights to maintain the temperature inside the greenhouse, and then the lights for the fence and the guard room, etc. Hence, 1 kW solar system can suffice the power supply required by the mushroom farming industry.

For an industry like ‘Fish Farming Industry’, a 5 kW off-grid solar system will be required to generate the power to run the heavy water motors to provide water to the tanks, to run the bubbler motor for the tank, cctvs (if installed) then the monitor room, heavy lightings for the fish ponds, for the guard room and other areas of the premise. A 5 kW off-grid solar system can suffice the need of power in fish farming industry.

Components of Solar System

There are 3 types of components that comes with any type of solar system. The primary component is the Solar Panel, depending on the type of solar system and its watt capacity the number of solar panels can increase if decrease but a minimum of 2 solar panels is always constant. The solar panels used in 1 kW solar system are the super high efficiency, sharp-cut 144 technology.

The second main component is the Battery. The major point of concern with the battery is that the battery must be maintenance free battery. As it should require least maintenance. The type of battery used in 1 kW solar system is ‘CAML Lithium-Ion’ battery, which is a very high-performance battery.

The third main component is the Inverter. An inverter converts alternate current (AC) to direct current (DC) and then provides it to the electrical components. A high performing inverter can store more power and provide more high efficiency and stable power to the electrical components (the outlet of stable power is a must for any type of industry).

Conclusion

The usage of a solar system in an industry has become the necessity, which not only saves money at bigger and broader scale, it also covers the unwanted expense of getting power lines to consume electricity at the industry at the remote locations. One must acquire proper information and usage of a solar system to get the best possible output for any type of a small-scale industry. In the remote location of Tamil Nadu and other southern areas the requirement and the usage of solar systems is getting higher with the visible best results, maximum savings and more boosted output of a dedicated industry.

WhatsApp alerts users to stealthy zero-click hacking risk

WhatsApp hacking

WhatsApp has recently warned its users about a new type of cyber threat known as the “zero-click” hack, which has compromised the devices of approximately 90 individuals across various countries without any interaction from the users. This sophisticated hacking technique does not require the victims to click on any links, making it extremely stealthy and difficult to detect.

The affected individuals include journalists and activists, highlighting the use of this spyware in targeting members of civil society. The hacking tool is developed by Paragon Solutions, an Israeli company known for its advanced hacking software, which is primarily sold to governments for purposes such as fighting crime and ensuring national security.

This zero-click hack involves the deployment of malicious electronic documents to the targets’ devices. These documents do not require any user interaction to execute the hack, enhancing the stealthiness of the attack. WhatsApp officials have reported to Reuters that they have detected efforts to compromise about 90 of their users and have taken steps to disrupt the hacking activities.

The targets of this hack span more than two dozen countries, with some located in Europe, according to various reports. The identity of the specific targets has not been disclosed by WhatsApp, but the company has referred the affected users to the Canadian internet watchdog group, Citizen Lab, for further assistance.

John Scott-Railton, a researcher at Citizen Lab, commented on the situation, stating that the discovery of Paragon’s spyware targeting WhatsApp users serves as a reminder of the ongoing proliferation of mercenary spyware. He noted that this continues the pattern of spyware being used in problematic ways.

WhatsApp has informed law enforcement and industry partners about the incident, although specific details of these discussions have not been shared publicly. The FBI has yet to comment on the matter. This incident underscores the growing risks associated with spyware and the need for users to be vigilant about cyber security.
