Neeraj Chopra, the golden boy of India is a known name now and that too for all the right reasons. After winning the gold medal in javelin throw in Olympics, every Indian was proud and were pouring warm wishes for him. However, some people took it too far and started objectifying Neeraj for his good looks. Recently, who objectified Neeraj Chopra was RJ Malishka, and not just with her comments but by putting a dance show for him in an online interview. Soon after the interview aired, netizens started backlashing Malishka.

There are small clips from the interview that are doing rounds on the internet. In the video, Malishka is seen asking for an online hug and she even leaned forward, to which Neeraj replied and said, namaste, aise door se hi (namaste, from the distance).

There is yet another video from the same interview that went viral. In the video, Malishka is seen dancing with her female colleague on the Bollywood song, ude jab jab julfein teri, kanwarion ka dil machle. After this, she says to Neeraj that I hope we didn’t tease you much.

After this, Twitter started backlashing Malishka for doing such things in an interview. One of the users said, What is this cringefest even!
If a male anchor zoomed in to ask for a “Jaadu ki Jhaappi” it would not be ok. Objectifying men and dancing in front of him is NOT OKAY!

Another user said, harassing an Olympic Gold Medalist in the name of an interview is not cool.

Yet another user said, why Malishka is making our golden boy feel so uncomfortable? Feeling sympathy for the level of torment he had to endure.

However, this is not the first time when someone objectified Neeraj Chopra. Earlier, when Neeraj won the gold medal, some of the users on the internet wrote that can they say, Neeraj Chopra is hot, another one in a reply said that well he can throw his javelin inside me anytime.

Former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren trails from Seraikela seat

Published

on

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP leader Champai Soren was trailing from the Seraikela seat to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha candidate Ganesh Mahali with 860 votes, according to Election Commission of India data.

The counting of votes for Jharkhand’s 81 Assembly constituencies is still underway. The JMM-led INDIA alliance is ahead in 50 seats, while the NDA is leading in 29.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren was leading from the Barhait seat by more than 9000 votes to BJP’s Galiyel Hembrom.

Champai Soren contested the Seraikela seat as a candidate for the BJP, facing off against his former colleague Ganesh Mahali from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).

His recent transition from the JMM to the BJP has significantly altered the political landscape in this tribal region. Following Hemant Soren’s arrest in January related to a land grab case, Champai assumed the role of Chief Minister, a position he held for five months before his tenure ended amid controversy.

In a campaign rally, Union Home Minister Amit Shah claimed that Champai was ousted from the Chief Minister’s office for advocating against infiltration and supporting tribal rights, thereby heightening the political tensions in the constituency.

In August, the senior tribal leader, Soren, made it clear that he was not afraid of any situation. Soren after meeting Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi announced that he would be joining the BJP. He along with his son joined the BJP.

Champai Soren had asserted that he joined the BJP to save tribal identity and existence, which is at stake in the state’s Santhal Pargana region due to “rampant” infiltration from Bangladesh.

The senior JMM leader, who briefly held the Chief Minister’s post after Hemant Soren’s resignation, had said only the saffron party seems serious over the issue of tribals, while others are indulging in vote bank politics.
