Former Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi is set to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the 4th round of questioning in Delhi in the National Herald money laundering case.
Last week, the ED had questioned Gandhi for nearly 30 hours in three straight days from Monday to Wednesday.
The first three rounds of Gandhi’s questioning had been turned into a show of strength as their party leaders took out Delhi streets. Amid heated protests by the Congress leaders and workers, many of whom were detained by the police.
The Congress will stage peaceful demonstrations across the country against the anti-youth Agnipath recruitment scheme and the Modi government’s vendetta politics against Rahul Gandhi, the party said.
In a letter to ED on Monday, Gandhi had requested to defer questioning as he needed to be with his mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who is in hospital for Covid-related issues.

The Congress has now decided to change its protest strategy and will be camped at Jantar Mantar – Delhi’s designated protest site.
The party leaders was gathered at Jantar Mantar yesterday against the Centre’s new military recruitment scheme, Agnipath, which has sparked protests across the country.
Congress’ delegation will also meet President Ram Nath Kovind to bring to his notice the alleged manhandling and harassment of party MPs by the Delhi Police during their protests against the ED’s question to former Congress chief.
When Rahul Gandhi was facing ED’s questioning in National Herald money laundering case, Congress MPs, senior leaders and thousands of workers were protesting across the country against the summoning of former Congress chief by the ED. However, the protest turned violent in parts of the country as party workers clashed with the police.
Hundreds of Congress workers were detained by the police for protesting without permission.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Police had stopped Congress workers during a protest outside the party headquarter at Akbar Road. Congress had alleged that some policemen forcibly entered its headquarters and beat up party workers and leaders.
