Indian skipper Rohit Sharma who had tested positive for covid-19 ahead of the IND VS ENG decider match had joined the Indian squad after testing covid negative on Sunday, and is now all set to lead the Indian side in the IND vs ENG T20I.
After losing the decider Test match against England, men in blue would be looking for an chance to redeem themselves, where as the host would want to continue their winning streak. Both the teams will play three-match T20 series followed by a three-match ODI series. And with these six matches, India tour of England will end on June 17, 2022.
Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant will not play the first T20 match against England, as Indian team selectors have rested them and are trying new team combinations. But the senior players will join Indian team for the rest matches.

The first match which will be played today will begin at 10:30 pm. But the rest two will start at 7:00 pm. First toss between India and England for the T20 match will be held at 10:00 pm.
