Superstar Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol recently flew to Dubai where the teaser of their film Animal was played on the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa. The two actors watched in awe as the teaser was played on the tower. Animal is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1.

Animal has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor. The film will release in 5 languages Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The official teaser of Animal was unvieled on Ranbir Kapoor’s 41st birthday on September 28. In the teaser Ranbir and Rashmika’s characters are talking about children. Rashmika Asks Ranbir if he has thought about kids. He replies that he wants to be a father.

She replies that Ranbir won’t be like his father. Ranbir gets angry and says his father is the best father and he warns her not to get there. Ranbir later asks Rashmika to ask about anything and he tells her that he would be totally honest with her. The teaser shows a glimpse of the troubled father son relationship between Ranbir and his on screen father Anil Kapoor.

Ranbir comes across as an innocent man who becomes fierce and rebellious after an incident. The high point of the teaser is the appearance of Bobby Deol as the antagonist. After Animal Ranbir does not have any project lined up. He said he will be spending time with his daughter Raha Kapoor. He said he is on a long break. He added he had not signed a film yet. He said he would be home for five to six months.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.
