Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated pan-Indian film Hari Hara Veera Mallu has finally secured its latest release date following several postponements. Originally helmed in Telugu by directors Jyothi Krishna and Krish Jagarlamudi, the historical epic has faced a turbulent schedule, but excitement persists among fans.
The makers initially targeted a release on 29 March 2025, only to shift it to 9 May 2025. Further delays, attributed to intricate post-production and complex VFX work, pushed the date to 12 June 2025. Today, the team announced a fresh premiere, with the film now slated to grace cinemas worldwide on 24 July 2025. The announcement on social media read, “Witness the battle for truth, faith, and freedom in cinemas worldwide on 24 July 2025,” accompanied by a striking poster.
Produced by A Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Productions, with veteran producer AM Rathnam presenting, the movie will be dubbed in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, broadening its reach. This period action drama centres on Veera Mallu, a defiant outlaw championing the oppressed, portrayed by Pawan Kalyan. Bobby Deol steps into the role of the antagonistic Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, adding intensity to the narrative, while Niddhi Agerwal stars as the leading lady.
The ensemble cast includes Anupam Kher, Jisshu Sengupta, Nargis Fakhri, M Nassar, Sunil, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, and Nora Fatehi, bringing depth to the storyline. The film boasts a stellar technical crew, with Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani crafting the music, Manoj Paramahamsa handling cinematography, and veteran art director Thota Tharani designing the sets, promising a visually spectacular experience.
Earlier today, at 17:30 IST, the makers hosted a virtual press conference to unveil the new date, sharing a teaser clip of the VFX-heavy battle sequences. Pawan Kalyan joined via video link, expressing gratitude to fans for their patience and hinting at the film’s grand vision. The event, attended by industry insiders, reignited enthusiasm, with Kalyan stating, “This delay ensures a masterpiece worth waiting for.”
As Hari Hara Veera Mallu gears up for its July release, the resolved timeline and high-profile talent suggest it could mark a significant cinematic event, blending historical grandeur with Pawan Kalyan’s star power.
