Snakes are one of the most dangerous creatures in the world and people are afraid to even touch them. But, recently a video has been going viral on social media where a man is seeing feeding water to a snake. While many are scared of this deadly creature, this person showed no evidence of fear and went ahead to help this snake.

In the video, it can be seen that a man gently pours water from a bottle on his palms and offers it to a thirsty snake. The thirsty snake is seen quietly gulping the water. Many people were scared by the video, but the majority of them praised the man for his bold and generous gestures.

The video was shared on Twitter by Susanta Nanda who is an Indian Forest Service officer. In the caption, he wrote that summer is approaching and your little drops can save someone’s life. Leave some water in your garden in a container for that can mean a choice between life & death for many animals, he continued.

One of the users wrote that this is a very noble gesture but one must not forget old sayings, while the other user wrote that the act is done under the supervision of experts and do not try this at home. Another commented that these small steps are what we ought to take in our surroundings this summer.

This is not the first time Nanda has shown an act of kindness. In 2018, a video went viral in which Nanda was giving water to a cobra. Love & water. Two best ingredients of life, wrote IFS Susanta Nanda while sharing the video on Twitter.

Emraan Hashmi is all set to return to one of his most iconic roles, as he announced the release date of Awarapan 2 on Monday. The sequel to the 2007 cult film Awarapan will arrive in cinemas on April 3, 2026, the actor revealed via Instagram on his 46th birthday, along with a teaser of the film.

Hashmi, who turned 46 today, marked the occasion by unveiling the teaser and the release date on his Instagram handle. Captioning the post with a powerful line from the film, he wrote: “Bas mujhe kuch aur der zinda rakh… #Awarapan2 in cinemas, 3rd April 2026.”

Directed by Mohit Suri and produced under the Vishesh Films banner, Awarapan starred Hashmi alongside Shriya Saran and became a significant part of the 2000s pop culture wave. Known for its haunting soundtrack and brooding narrative, the film cemented Hashmi’s status as a romantic anti-hero.

The confirmation of a sequel comes after weeks of speculation, which were sparked earlier this month when Hashmi posted an animated teaser hinting at the film’s return.

In recent years, Hashmi has leaned back into mainstream cinema. In 2023, he notably played the antagonist in Tiger 3. He is also making his Telugu debut in the upcoming action film OG, co-starring Pawan Kalyan and Priyanka Mohan. Additionally, Hashmi will feature in G2, the sequel to Goodachari (2018), alongside Adivi Sesh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Madhu Shalini.

Hashmi was last seen in the web series Showtime, alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana, and Mouni Roy.

Expanding his footprint in digital content, Hashmi is also headlining Ground Zero, a Kashmir-set BSF drama series.

With Awarapan 2, Hashmi’s return to one of his most-loved characters has sparked nostalgia among fans and added another big project to the actor’s packed slate.

Perplexity AI co-founder and CEO Aravind Srinivas recently shared insights into his time in Bengaluru, revealing that he did not explore much of the city during a three-week internship due to its traffic congestion. Speaking on a podcast hosted by entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath, Srinivas reflected on prioritising work over leisure during his stay in Koramangala, one of the city’s tech hubs.

“I just worked all the time. Now that I look back I probably think I should have explored,” Srinivas said. Though he stayed in a centrally located area, he admitted that the city’s notorious traffic discouraged him from venturing out.

The IIT Madras alumnus noted that while he didn’t get to see much of the city, he appreciated Bengaluru’s pleasant climate. “I do remember the weather was awesome compared to Chennai. I think the weather was much better,” he recalled.

In the same conversation, Srinivas opened up about his early interest in artificial intelligence, which began with participating in a Kaggle competition. “That was my entry into AI,” he said, adding that the experience was more about understanding how machines learn from data than winning.

Srinivas, known for his work ethic, emphasized that he enjoys pushing himself. “It’s not about chasing some goal to scale,” he explained. “I enjoy it, and I’m really proud of that.”

He also spoke about a detailed conversation he once had with AI podcaster Lex Fridman, which covered neural networks, AI principles, and even business strategies of major tech companies. Srinivas highlighted the importance of asking questions, regardless of how basic they may seem.

The podcast also featured discussions on the future of AI, India’s potential in the field, and key trends shaping the industry.

In a commendable healthcare initiative, the Indian Army organized a five-day advanced eye surgical camp at the 158 Base Hospital in Bagdogra, West Bengal, from March 20 to 24. The camp focused on providing ophthalmic care to ex-servicemen and their families, successfully performing over 350 cataract surgeries and screening 1,752 individuals for various eye ailments.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the camp was led by Brigadier Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Head of Ophthalmology at Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi. A renowned surgeon with over one lakh eye surgeries to his name, Brigadier Mishra emphasized that this initiative brought world-class treatment to the Himalayan foothills, covering veterans from West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, and even Nepal.

A specialized team from Army Hospital (R&R), Base Hospital Delhi Cantt, and Command Hospital Lucknow conducted the surgeries using state-of-the-art equipment and premium-quality lenses. Additionally, over 500 pairs of high-grade spectacles were distributed free of cost.

The camp’s reach extended beyond Indian borders, as 17 ex-servicemen and dependents from Nepal were also screened, with some undergoing cataract surgery free of charge — reflecting the Army’s commitment to serving veterans across regions.

The initiative was carried out under the directives of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, following a request from West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose.
