Sridevi took her last breath on February 24, 2018, in Dubai. The late actor went there to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding, after which the actor collapsed due to cardiac arrest, and she was found dead in bothroom.
The English Vinglish actor, who is regarded as the pioneering female star of Indian cinema, starred in around 300 motion pictures. She became one of the rare multilingual actors in Indian cinema to have earned popularity in the Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries with her versatile acting skills, winning the hearts of millions of people worldwide.
Over the course of her 50-year career, Sridevi received numerous honors and recognitions. In 2013, she was bestowed with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India.
When Sridevi was four years old, she starred in her first Tamil film, Kandhan Karunai, in 1967. She subsequently made her Bollywood debut in the 1972 movie Rani Mera Naam.

Both her daughters decided to follow their mother’s footsteps, and thus Janhvi and Khushi have established themselves as actors. Janhvi was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. While Khushi, who debuted this year with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, is all set for her next film. She will be next seen in Shauna Gautam’s upcoming film alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan.
