A young man was arrested after a video of him dressed in a teddy bear costume and dancing near railway tracks went viral.

Suraj Kumar, 22, from Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, was reportedly making a reel for his Instagram handle ‘Teddy Godfather’, dressed as a teddy bear and dancing adjacent to a train crossing in Gorakhpur.

Unfortunately for Suraj, his antics went viral and landed him in jail. The youth was picked up by RPF personnel while still dressed in that outrageous costume and taken to a police station.

An RPF official said Suraj had crossed the unmanned level crossing and was close to the railways tracks as trains passed by.

In the video, Suraj, who has around 313 followers on his Instagram, is seen making gestures at a passing train and dancing around.

All the posts on his Instagram show him wearing the now infamous teddy bear costume and doing various acts to incite a reaction from passersby’s such as picking a fight, walking funnily or just goofing around and dancing.

Apparently, Suraj also takes bookings for birthday parties and events of that nature, as mentioned on his socials.

Suraj’s Instagram handle has about 313 followers. It also mentions that he takes bookings to appear at birthday parties and other events.

Jokes apart, Suraj’s antics are just another example of how some social media users will go to extreme lengths to gain a following on such platforms.

Earlier today, a woman climbed aboard a Metro train dressed as Manjulika from the 2007 Bollywood film Bhool Bhulaiya.

In the viral video, the woman is seen wearing a yellow saree, walks into a metro station in Noida while sporting messy hair, some jewelry, and sloppy makeup. Seemingly, she wanted to scare the commuters and shoot a video for her socials.
