Twitter new owner Elon Musk conducted a new poll to determine public inclination towards the ‘general amnesty’ of suspended Twitter accounts.
This move came a few days after Musk conducted a poll, based on which he had restored US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account. In the recently conducted poll, users were asked by the new Twitter Chief if all accounts that had been suspended given they have not broken any law or were involved in any spam.

On November 25, 2022, at around 11:16 PM IST, the findings of the poll survey, which has a 24-hour timeframe, will be released.
Earlier, Musk conducted a poll online to determine whether Twitter users thought Donald Trump’s account should be reactivated. As many as 15,085,458 people participated in the survey, with 51.8 per cent voting in favour and 48.2 per cent against.
Trump’s Twitter account was reinstated, with Musk tweeting, ‘Vox Populi, Vox Dei’ on Saturday.
As of Saturday night, it looked that Trump’s Twitter account had returned. The most recent tweet was from January 8, 2021, and it stated, “To all of you who have asked, I will not be coming to the Inauguration on January 20th.”
Days after his supporters attempted to overthrow the US Capitol, Trump was permanently banned from Twitter in January 2021 by the previous administration. Trump’s supporters invaded the Capitol as the US Congress attempted to recognise Joe Biden’s victory because they were dissatisfied with the results of the 2020 presidential election.
