Ajith Kumar's Good, Bad, Ugly

The trailer of Ajith Kumar’s much-awaited action entertainer Good Bad Ugly has finally been unveiled and it’s nothing short of a mass-loaded spectacle. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film is set for a grand worldwide release on April 10, 2025 and the trailer has only amplified the hype around this high-octane action drama.

Originally planned for a Pongal 2025 release, the film has been in the works since June last year and boasts a powerhouse ensemble cast featuring Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Arjun Das, Prabhu, Prasanna, and Sunil.

The trailer opens with Arjun Das in a suave villainous role, dancing alongside foreign performers to the folk tune Otha Rooba Tharen. His character directly challenges Ajith’s, branding himself as the real villain in the story. Soon after, Trisha’s character accuses Ajith’s of a past crime, sparking emotional turmoil that quickly turns into a mission for revenge and redemption.

Ajith’s character, in a fiery monologue, reveals his transformation — having given up smoking, drinking, and violence for his family — only to reclaim his old ways when his son’s safety is at risk. With electrifying action scenes, gripping face-offs, and a commanding presence, Ajith delivers one of the trailer’s strongest lines, warning an opponent that while they may retain their body parts, they won’t keep their life.

The trailer ends with the striking declaration: “Bad boy.”

The trailer’s scheduled release was briefly delayed due to what the production team called “MASS SAMBAVAM” — a response so overwhelming it caused server slowdowns. Eventually, the trailer dropped 20 minutes later, much to fans’ delight.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features music by National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam, editing by Vijay Velukutty, and intense stunt sequences choreographed by Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov.

With its high-voltage visuals, punch-packed dialogues, and Ajith in full form, Good Bad Ugly promises to be a box-office storm when it hits theatres on April 10.

Jr NTR has shared thrilling news about the sequel to his acclaimed pan-Indian film, “Devara.” His comments came during the success celebration of the Telugu movie “Mad Square,” where he addressed fans and industry insiders about the much-anticipated follow-up to his action adventure.

The superstar put to rest any speculation surrounding the sequel being shelved. “For those who thought ‘Devara 2’ wouldn’t happen, I can confirm that we will be back with a bang,” he stated, much to the delight of the audience. Jr NTR’s remarks were made in the context of celebrating the success of “Mad Square,” which stars Narne Nithin, the brother-in-law of the “RRR” actor. “Mad Square” has been written and directed by Kalyan Shankar and produced by Haarika Suryadevara and S. Naga Vamsi.

“Devara,” directed by Kortala Siva, features a star-studded cast that includes Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan. The film is set in a fictional coastal town, where a police officer embarks on a mission to combat crime at sea and delves into the legend of Devara, a mysterious tale that governs the high seas.

Since its debut on September 27, 2024, “Devara: Part 1” has garnered mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. A review from The Hindu noted, “Devara: Part 1 is part-engaging and part-tiresome. If only it was a one-part film, it might have been much more wholesome.” This commentary highlights the film’s ambitious but somewhat uneven execution.

In addition to working on “Devara,” Jr NTR is also involved in an exciting new venture with celebrated KGF filmmaker Prashanth Neel. This upcoming project, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, is reported to have commenced filming at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on February 20, 2025. Fans can look forward to this ambitious period drama, which is slated for release in theaters on January 9, 2026. This new film, combined with the sequel to “Devara,” promises to keep Jr NTR at the forefront of Indian cinema in the coming years.

Posted on X (formerly Twitter), the footage captures the duo energetically moving to the infectious beats of the dhol, with Smith enthusiastically joining in on the bhangra action.

This exciting collaboration, presented as a joint effort by the “GOAT” singer, exploded on social media, drawing a flurry of reactions from fans amazed by the unexpected pairing.

In the video, Dosanjh sports a classic white kurta-pyjama paired with a red turban, while Smith complements the scene in a laid-back blue tracksuit and orange sneakers. The Hollywood icon can be seen attempting the lively bhangra steps, syncing up with Dosanjh to the pulsating background music.

This viral moment follows a series of online exchanges between the two earlier this year. Back in February, Smith had praised Dosanjh’s track “Tension” from his Advisory EP with a fiery “Fire!” comment, to which Dosanjh replied affectionately, calling him “Big Brother.” Their digital camaraderie began when Smith started following the Indian star on Instagram in August 2024.

Currently, Dosanjh is gearing up for the release of “Punjab 95,” a biographical drama about activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, and is also set to appear in “Border 2,” alongside Ahan Shetty, Sunny Deol, and Varun Dhawan.

Will Smith is staging a major comeback in music with his latest album, “Based on a True Story,” which dropped on March 28—his first release in two decades since “Lost and Found.” The album includes hits like “You Can Make It” and “Work of Art,” featuring his son Jaden, and touches on his reflections from the 2022 Oscars controversy.

Additionally, Smith is slated to headline at France’s Positiv Festival in July and launch a summer tour across Europe and the UK. On the film front, he’s actively involved in “Bad Boys 4” and “I Am Legend 2,” marking a robust resurgence.
